Zee TV’s Radha Krishna gets SCRAPPED!
Every show comes with its own fate!
Radha Krishna, the much awaited mytho drama to be launched on Zee TV seems to be doomed.
Creative Eye was initially producing the show when the channel reportedly shifted the project to Swastik Productions. But now the series has been officially scrapped.
During the transit of production house, sources had shared with us, “The reason behind this big alteration is reportedly because of the prolong delay. With the casting process being too slow, the channel wanted to get the show rolling and thus decided to move it to Swastik.”
The new production house got into a proactive hunt to find the leads and headed to churn out the series in a fast mode zone.
The makers (Siddharth and Rahul Kumar Tewary) also finalised on Sumedh Mudgalkar and newbie Mallika Singh replacing the earlier signed Preetika Rao and rookie actor Priyank in the lead roles. The script was also being discussed and worked upon on priority basis.
But with the production house and the channel not getting on the same page, they amicably decided to let go off the project.
A source close to the channel shared, “There were a lot of differences in terms of cost, production process and casting. Although the two parties tried their best to get into the same line, it was not happening. A lot of energy was being used but all was going vain. This is when the channel and production house decided to scrap the show and focus on their other individual projects that were in the pipeline.”
As of now the cast and crew have been informed and they are open to join new ventures.
We tried reaching out to the producer Siddharth but he did not revert till the time of filing the story. We will update the story in a jiffy once he does.
Our efforts to reach the channel spokesperson also remained futile.
