“You should be confident about yourself and your performance”
Says Mohit Dagga who is excited about working with Shilpa Shirodkar. He also shares about his journey with the show ‘Ek Mutthi Aasmaan’ and his acting experience with actress Shilpa Shirodkar.
Mohit Dagga who is seen as Vitthal in DJ’s Creative Unit’s Ek Mutthi Aasmaan on Zee TV is playing the ace actress Shilpa Shirodkar’s husband in the show. Mohit is on cloud nine these days as he is cast opposite the beautiful actress of the 90’s. He thinks that matching up with her acting skills is quite a task for any actor and he is doing it flawlessly.
In conversation with us, Mohit revealed his experience of shooting with Shilpa Shirodkar and talks about his reel and real life personality.
Mohit shares about his first mock shoot with Shilpa and says, “To be honest and frank, I wasn’t nervous at all. I was just making sure that I deliver my dialogues perfectly and with right the attitude. I have always learnt a lot in life that whoever comes in front of you and if you are confident about yourself and your performance, then it hardly matters whom are you acting with. My focus was on my lines written in the script and trust me, my take was flawless and was appreciated by all.”
He further says, “Shilpaji is a great co-actor, very jovial and down to earth person. She is a comfortable co-actor to work with. The people around can be very friendly with her as she is the most comfortable person I have worked with till date.”
Mohit shared about his reel and real life persona and says, “I am very much similar to Vitthal in real life. In fact, I share various emotions that are required to project on screen with the character of Vitthal. I too get angry like him so I really don’t have to work too hard on it..”
Every actor is appreciated as well as criticized so when we asked Mohit who is his biggest critic, he promptly replied, “My younger brother is my biggest critic. He watches the nuances of the scene and advises me about it.”
When asked Mohit about his future plans and the ultimate dream he wants to fulfill, he says, “I have loads of dreams to accomplish as my family is not from the acting background. I am the only one who has made a mark in the industry. So its difficult for me to sustain it but I am working hard and every actor has a dream to make it big in Bollywood, so do I.”
