Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 25th September 2012 Written Update

The episode begins with Naitik telling Daddaji that it’s not because he wanted to degrade him but because he wanted to give him something. Gayatari asks Daddaji if he wants tea to which he says who ever says no to that? Everyone shares a laugh and then Akshara tells them that she;ll take Naksh and change his clothes. Everyone leaves the room. Daddaji and Bhabhima sit on the bed looking at the pictures and Daddaji tells Bhabhima that he has an idea and she will be happy to hear it.

Scene changes and shows Natik and Naksh playing while Akshara is packing. Akshara picks up a box and starts smiling looking into it. Naitik asks her why she is smiling to which she says that it’s because she’s happy looking at Naitik’s treasure box. The two laugh and Naitik then tells Akshara that it’s a really weird feeling that his own son will play with the toys that he once had. Akshara says that this is how it works; the first generations passes the values and traditions onto the next generation.

Daddaji is shown telling Raj Panna and Gayatari that he has decided to pass everything onto Naitik as he will be the sole heir of everything that they have. Raj Panna asks why the sudden decision to which Daddaji says that it’s time I get a leave from working all the time. Raj Panna says that it’s absolutely okay if someday Daddaji doesn’t want to come to work, he’ll bring the work to him. Daddaji then says that in the race against time, man is always left behind and that now Naitik has all the abilities to take care of this responsibility. Everyone agrees. Daddaji tells everyone in the room not to tell Naitik and that they will reveal this tomorrow.

Rajshri and Sunaina are talking in the kitchen where Rajshri tells Sunaina that they might have taken a irrational decision by talking to the kids too soon. Sunaina says that they were definitely right because even now they weren’t given them a reason but were backing each other up. Rajshri then just keeps thinking.

Naitik comes in the room and Akshara asks him where Naksh is to which he says that they went to say good night to everyone and then Gayatari just said that they could leave Naksh there so he left him there. Akshara then starts teasing Naitik that she is very sleepy. Naitik holds her from the back and tells her it’s not 12 yet therefore there anniversary day continues. Akshara keeps teasing him and says that they have already celebrated their anniversary at the Village. Naitik says that they haven’t even wished each other. Akshara wishes him anniversary. She’s about to walk away when he pushes her to the door and they have a “Piya Bawari” moment. Naitik picks Akshara up and puts her on the bed.

It’s the next morning and everyone is shown walking in the office of Singhania’s. Akshara asks Naitik whether he asked Daddaji to which he says that he did but Daddaji told him to just get to the office without any delays. Daddaji walks into his cabin with the entire family following behind him. Daddaji then gives a box to Naitik to open up. Naitik opens it and inside lays a plate that says “Naitik Singhania – Managing Director.” Naitik looks tensed and asks Daddaji what all this is about to which Daddaji says that he had to pass this responsibility onto Naitik and it’s time now that he does so without any hesitaiton. Naitik walks out without another word. Bhabhima asks why he left and Daddaji says to give him time to wrap his head around this situation and then he’ll understand. Bhabhima says but how? Daddaji tells Akshara that she has to make sure Naitik understands the situation. Akshara looks reluctant but eventually agrees because Daddaji tells her that this had to happen one day or the other and it’s better to happen right now than later.

Akshara walks with Naksh to where Naitik is sitting in the garden. Naitiks tells Akshara to leave if she’s there to talk to him about the situation. Akshara doesn’t say anything. Naitik further says that he doesn’t have a problem with the responsibility but he doesn’t have to sit on that particular chair for this responsibility. Naitik then tells Akshara that even when he was younger, Daddaji would make Naitik sit in his place and even then Naitik would tell him that it’s his place. He says that he can’t imagine anyone in that place ever let alone himself. He tells himself then that he won’t ever have the guts to remove Daddaji’s name plate and put his own there. Akshara just looks at Naksh.

Gayatri tells Dadi that they should go meet Akshara today and that they will take a few days to be back in their routine. They are discussing this just when Tanu comes down the staircase and takes the blessings of Dadi. She tells Dadi that she has an exam today therefore she needs all the blessings. Anshu comes down the stairs just then and is walking out when Sunaina stops her and says that he didn’t have college until 10 then why is he leaving so early. Anshu says that it’s his friends birthday and that he wants to buy a gift from him. Rajshri asks him which shop is open this early to which he says that there is one shop near his college that’s open. He is about to walk out when Tanu stops him and says that can he drop her. Dadi agrees and the two leave. Sunaina and Rajshri look at each other.

Akshara walks in the kitchen where Bhabhima and Gayatri are cooking food. Bhabhima asks Akshara if she has spoken to Naitik, Akshara tells her she hasn’t yey. Bhabhima says that if anyone else looks at this situation and fight, they’ll laugh because families fight over who is going to take it but not give. Bhabhima further says that she saw the most touching feelings in Naitik’s eyes today and that she can’t believe they were leaving them. Akshara tells her to promise never to even think about leaving. Bhabhima tells Akshara to first promise her that she will convince Naitik to take over the business. Akshara says that she will try.

Naitik is playing with Naksh and Akshara walks in the room with Akshara. He starts telling Akshara that while he was talking on the phone, Naksh had picked up his toy phone and started talking too. Akshara stops him and says that Daddaji probably wants to see the same happen. Naitik moves back and doesn’t say anything. Akshara then tells him that Dadddaji probably sees his reflection in Naitik and therefore he wanted to give his seat to Naitik. Akshara then picks up the box from previous night that contains all of Naitik’s toys and collections. Akshara says that how would he react if Naksh rejects all these toys and doesn’t agree to take them because he doesn’t want to. Naitik looks remorseful and doesn’t say anything.

Suddenly, two feets are shown and Naitik is touching them. Naitik holds Daddaji’s hand and says that he is sorry for not listening to him and just leaving. Daddaji says that he completely understands what he was going through. Naitik says that he is ready to take over and that he will try and take the entire business to a higher rank. Naitik says that he has one condition though that the cabin and seat will always remain his. Daddaji is about to argue when Naitik says that that place is like his mandir and that he can’t imagine working from there. Daddaji says that he will think about it. Naitik cuts him and says that only if he agrees, will they move forward with this discussion. Daddaji nods and agrees. Naitik says that he agrees too. Everyone’s smiling faces are shown. Daddaji and Naitik hug each other and the episode ends there.

Precap: Akshara is comforting Naitik because Naitik is scared for the following day. Akshara tells him that we trust you completely. Naitik says that that’s the problem, you all trust me too much.
