    Security has been beefed up at the ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ sets after a drunken man landed up on the premises and passed derogatory remarks about lead actress Divyanka Tripathi.
    Divyanka Tripathi said, “As it is the security on our set is quite strict, now it has become stricter and no one can just walk on to the set after that incident.”

    Divyanka Tripathi who plays Ishita along with Ruhanika Dhawan who plays Ruhi on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
    Divyanka said she was getting ready to give her shot when the unidentified man came close to her and started misbehaving with her. She said, “He kept on passing derogatory remarks and my director was asking me to get ready for the shot. It kept playing on my mind but I had to do my job. But later I was told that one of the junior went and informed Karan and Ali, who beat him up for his misbehaviour. I know after this incident, no one will dare to misbehave with any girl on our set.”
    The incident, which had happened at the Killick Nixon studio, was confirmed by Karan Patel. Karan said, “This man was lurking on the sets and trying to get over familiar with Divyanka. She tried to shoo him away, but he didn’t listen so I had to intervene. I had to push him as he would not understand any other language. I made sure to not hurt him, but let him off with a warning so that he knew we were not dumb people standing around there.”
    The man was handed over to the local police. Karan said, “The crew made calls to the local police around Killick Nixon studio and handed him to the police.”

    Karan Patel turned a real life hero for onscreen wife Ishita aka Divyanka Tripathi recently. It seems that a drunkard was harassing our heroine on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, when Karan turned a knight in shining armour for our damsel in distress. While we have witnessed a scene like this between the couple several times on the show thanks to Simmi’s lecherous husband Parmeet, this situation took place behind the cameras.Divyanka like her onscreen character Ishita is a peace loving gal and confirmed this real life episode, she said, ”I am not a violent person, and I had decided to carry on with my shoot. Yet when Karan stood up for me, it felt good. Somewhere in my heart, I wanted someone to teach that [drunken] man a lesson.”Karan too expressed his disgust about the whole incident and said, “I can’t tolerate such ill-mannered people, and especially those who misbehave with women. Just because a woman doesn’t say anything doesn’t mean you can humiliate her. It’s high time we learnt to respect women and stand up for them.”Well, looks like our angry young man has managed to impress Ishita both on and off screen with his heroism.

    Karan Patel To Co-Star Divyanka Tripathi’s Rescue !Raman Kumar Bhalla in Star Plus Yeh Hai Mohabbatein produced by Balaji Telefilms recently handled up a drunk man for troubling his beautiful co-star Divyanka Tripathi.Sources reveal that Divyanka was walking from her make-up room to the sets of her show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein where she essays the role of Ishita Raman Bhalla, when a drunk man started following her.Divyanka initially ignored the man but when the guy refused to leave and kept trying to talk to the actress, her co-star Karan intervened. Other people from the sets also got involved and the man was ultimately reported to the police.Karan had mentioned earlier that he and Divyanka and quite good friends and that Divyanka is a wonderful actor to work with. Well Karan has certainly proved that he is a great friend and we take this opportunity to express our admiration and respect to this amazing star as it’s always wonderful to see somebody stands up for women.
