Yashpal Sharma, Gajraj Rao out; Sooraj Thapar, Tinu Verma roped in for Mahakumbh

Recently the news of six television biggies donning cameo roles in Arvind Babbal’s supernatural mytho thriller Mahakumbh on Life Ok hit the news.

But, now we hear that as the show is all set to wrap up, few changes has been introduced to the list.

While Sudesh Berry, Arun Bali, Puneet Issar and Chetan Hasnraj continue with the shoot, a source informs that Yashpal Sharma and Gajraj Rao has moved out of the project.

When we contacted Arvind Babbal, the producer and director of the show, he confirmed the development and mentioned, “Gajraj and Yashpal both were eager to shoot for this series, but unfortunately Gajraj had some health issues and hence, could not commit to the project. While on the other hand, Yashpal is already busy with another venture. And in their place we have roped in action director and Mela film famed actor Tinu Verma and Sooraj Thapar (Razia Sultan)”.

Actor Yashpal Sharma echoed his thought, “Arvind is a very dear friend of mine, and I would love to do a project with him, but unfortunately could not manage to do this one due to date issues”.

Even Sooraj Thapar confirmed the news by stating that he has been approached for the role.

And before we end, here is little spoiler alert.

As we all know that Rudra is currently searching for the holy nectar and these above mentioned actors would act as the protector of six doors to reach the mystery of Amrit. But, as we all know, the original number of doors will be seven. So, who will be the seventh one?

Well it will be Mahaguru (Shaikh Sami), the strongest one to protect the secret.
