Sayuri finds thieves in her room. Thieves close the door. Sayuri gets afraid and sks who are they and what are they doing here. Thieves say they came to kidnap groom, but her husband tried to stop them and now she is doing same. Sayuri pleads them to take whatever they want to and tell where her husband is. Saroj and other get concerned when Sayuri and Kanha don’t return. Goons point a knife at Sayuri and threaten to kill her. Sayuri pleads them again to take whatever they want to and tell where her husband is. They try to carry jewelry away. Sayuri senses an opportunity, hits them with vase nearby, picks their knife, and threatens them to tell where Kanha is. They reveal he is lying in a trunk.

Sayuri tries to leave when goons cross leg her and take control of her. A servant tries to use smoke to ward off mosquitoes and throws fire on a trunk by mistake. Trunk catches fire.
