The Episode starts with Padmini getting happy seeing Vikram alive. Vikram thanks her and says they shall thank Mata Annapurna and go to temple. Kavidas tells that there will be nobody like him. Vikram thanks Mata Annapurna. Mata Annapurna says I am surprised seeing you dying for others. She asks him to ask any boon. Vikram says he wants his people not to be hungry. Mata Annapurna blesses his Rajya to be fed always. Vikram asks Acharya ji to open free food counters on various places where poor and helpless people will have food. Acharya ji says they will do it as soon as possible. Vikram comes to Betaal. Betaal is snoring in sleep. Vikram says you are sleeping. Betaal wakes up and says I thought you are dead due to Surya’s taap/heat. Vikram says how can I die, when you have many stories to tell.
He holds his tail. Betaal says you are catching me today because of Devi Padmini’s punya else your ashes would had immersed in River narmada by now. He says if one gets good wife then this world looks like heaven and if his wife is bad then sanyas is the only destination. He says a wife is having an important role in her husband’s welfare. He says he wanted to tell story of Mata narmada. He asks why Shiv ji kept all people in danger to protect guilty husband of Mata Narmada. Shiv tells that he will protect Narmada’s husband and will hide the sun today. He throws a cloth and it flies in air.
Betaal says Mata narmada was Param bhakt of Shiv. Mata narmada dances infront of Shivling to please Shiv. Narmada’s parents get happy with her bhakti. Just then a devil comes and blows air from his mouth. Narmada’s father says who is doing this. Devil sees Narmada and says she is so beautiful and picks her in his hand. He says your roop have wooed me. He walks away with Narmada in his hand. Narmada’s parents search her. Narmada asks him to leave her. He says we just think about enjoyment. A man comes and puts rope on his neck. Narmada falls down from Asur’s hand. Asur tells man that he will eat it first. He blows air from his mouth and attacks the man with many weapons, but fails. Asur says I will kill you. Man asks him to hurry about himself and says I am your death. He fires arrow on him, asur dies. Man/Rajkumar tells that it is her luck that he saw the danav and saved her. Narmada says my bhagya has protected me. Rajkumar Chitrasen tells that he saved her and she is giving credit to her luck. She tells that she feels that one karma’s motivates own’s life and says may be someone else will save your life due to this karma. Narmada’s parents maharaj and maharani come there and hug her. Her father asks if Danav did something. Narmada says my bhagya saved me. Chitrasen thinks he has to break her trust on destiny. He tells Narmada’s father that he has fallen for her and wants to marry her.
Betaal says Devi Narmada’s new chapter begins. Narmada refuses to marry Chitrasen. She says she can’t marry Chitrasen as he saved her. Her mum tries to convince her. Narmada says when she is destined to marry, then she will marry. Betaal says her parents call many prince fo Swayamvar, but Narmada chooses none. The many prince get angry and tell that if he make joke like this, then they will attack his rajya. Her father scolds her. Narmada says this is happening as this is her bhagya. She says if you want me to agree to you, then I will agree. Her father asks her to go out of Palace and put the garland to a random guy she sees and says he will see what is in her bhagya:
