Vijay Badlani and Swati Rajput in Colors’ Shaitan

Colors’ Shaitan – A Criminal Mind (Meditech) has been presenting some of the most shocking crime stories on national television. And keeping up to with their format, the makers are all set to present yet another real life crime story.

This particular story is about a happy couple (Abhay and Sanjana) whose life hits a road block when the sole earning member of their family meets with an accident that turns him into a handicap. Soon after that, his wife starts working to meet ends.

During the same time, she gets friendly with one of her colleagues, a relationship which does not go down well with Abhay. And one fine day, he ends up murdering his wife and their three-year-old son.
Vijay Badlani who was last seen in Sai Baba Telefilms’ Ghar Aaja Pardesi and Swati Rajput of Tum Dena Saath Mera fame play the madly in love couple Abhay and Sanjana.

When we contacted Vijay, he said, “This was an opportunity for me to prove myself as an actor, for in a daily soap you hardly get such challenging roles to play.”

Swati on the other hand said, “I loved the storyline therefore, I gave it a nod.”

The actors are currently busy shooting for the same.

This particular episode is all set to air on 30 June 2013.
