The episode starts with vatapi and his brother keval welcome rishi Agastya and make him sit on the throne. Keval says rishi we are honored to have you as our guest today and allow us to serve you the special food of our kingdom. Vatapi smiles and he goes outside with keval. Vatapi turns into a goat and keval cuts his neck. Vatapi as the goat is then cooked for the meal as rishi waits, keval brings in all the food items and says rishi take this, have the special food of our kingdom. Rishi smiles and he starts eating, rishi eats all food items one by one as keval thinks now my brother will come out of your stomach thus killing you and we will eat you together.
Keval then says vatapi come out. Keval smiles cunningly. Rishi smiles. Keval thinks my brother shall come out any moment now. Rishi

then touches his stomach and says get digested vatapi. Keval is shocked and says vatapi come out. Rishi touches his stomach again and inside vatapi as the goat screams and says brother save me, please save me someone. Rishi says get digested vatapi. Keval screams loudly vatapi come out, inside the stomach, vatapi is digested and he dies. Keval is shocked and rishi says keval your brother vatapi will never come out now, I ate him and he has been digested in my stomach. Keval says no you evil rishi, you killed my brother, I will kill you now. Rishi says keval you and your brother vatapi have cheated rishi’s and many innocent people into your palace and killed them and enjoyed their meat, you are a king and your job is to respect guests. Keval says I will kill you and he removes his axe. Rishi gets up and says I will curse you demon, rishi takes holy water and says the way you enjoyed the flesh of innocent people, in the same way you will now turn to bhasma because of the sins you committed. Rishi throws the water and in a torturous end, keval turns and dies into bhasma powder.
Mahadev tells ganesh, this way rishi continued ahead after punishing the demon brothers. Ganesh says father what rishi did was right, even I touched my stomach the same way after gulping the entire demon army of vindhurmali and his brothers. Mahadev continues and says rishi and devi lopamudra reached the ashram of rishi.
There rishi reaches with lopamudra at his ashram in south. Days after days, rishi and lopamudra get closer to each other and love each other. As one day, rishi says lopamudra my love I cannot lived without you but you know as destined you have to go one day. In some days, one day lopamudra says swami I think this day has come. Rishi has tears and says no I cannot let you go. Lopamudra says swami I don’t want to leave you and go, please stop me. Lopamudra starts turning into water for the river kaveri. Rishi says no lopamudra wait. Lopamudra turns into water completely and says swami please help me. Rishi gets up and has tears, he says no loapmudra I wont let you go, if I have prayed to mahadev all my life with all bhakti, then lopamudra you will not flow as river kaveri and will instead stay with me in my kumandal(pot). Lopamudra then flows into rishi’s kumandal and since then she stays with rishi always, rishi meditates with lopamudra by his side.
Mahadev says ganesh this way river kaveri never flowed and as everyone was scared of rishi might he give a curse, no one ask for the flowing of river kaveri. Ganesh says we have to do something otherwise more lives will be lost because of the droughts in the south. Ganesh says brother kartikeya you know rishi Agastya better, I think you should tell him to release river kaveri. Kartikeya says ganesh he is my guru and he is meditating since years, if I do it, it will be disrespect from my side to my guru and I cannot do that to my guru, because it would be against his teaching. Ganesh says that is right, then I will go and release mata lopamudra and let her flow as river kaveri. Kartikeya says be sure that you don’t make rishi angry otherwise he may give you a curse.

Precap: ganesh goes as a crow to rishi who is meditating. He sits on the kumandal of rishi to free river kaveri. Rishi opens his eyes in anger.
