The Episode starts with Jagabandhu saying I m doing to destroy the signed treaty between Badamba and the company. Kalyani stops him and asks him not to risk his life for a treaty, how did he think he would fight alone. She says you did this for my happiness, you can’t risk your life, I was in shock but you have fought alone all the while, you brought Mohan back safely and showed that you love me. He says I didn’t know your reaction, I was scared that you would leave me. She says one who is scared for someone’s happiness isn’t a weak person, you are my pride, I trust you, if you kill me for any reason… He stops her.
He says I will find the treaty. She says you wanted to take me to Puri, why shall we just get the treaty, we shall free entire Kalinga from britishers, we will go Puri and take help from Maharaj, we will plan a Vidroh/rebellion to remove every britisher from Kalinga.
A lady stops her son Jaggi and says you think you are Baxi Jagabandhu. Jaggi says I will throw this stone too far. He throws the stone. The stone hits a british officer. The officer says entire village has to bear the punishment now. Jagabandhu and Kalyani are on the way. She asks for water. She says water is over. He says wait here, I will get water. She says I will come along. He gets shocked seeing Shankar fallen dead. The man tells him about Russel punishing Shankar for his son’s mistake. Shankar’s wife cries for him. Jagabandhu recalls Shankar’s words. He gets angry seeing the lady’s grief. Kalyani says we will not spare the britishers, don’t worry. She stops the man from balding the woman. She says she won’t bear this insult and lose her esteem. The man says this is tradition. Jagabandhu says we have to fight these shameful traditions together that shook a woman’s identity. He says its my command, no wife will follow such old customs after her husband’s death. Kalyani says we will take revenge for your husband’s death, I promise you. The lady looks for Jaggi. Radha worries for Baxi. Manthara says the same thing will happen again, they will come close. Radha says I love him. Manthara says I wish that he also loved you. Radha says enough, I want him fine. Manthara says you know I m saying true. She goes. Jagabandhu and Kalyani find Jaggi hiding. Jaggi refuses to come out. Jagabandhu says I m Jagabandhu, Rodang’s Baxi, come out. Jaggi says he is very brave, if he was here, then nobody could have hurt my dad. Kalyani holds Jagabandhu’s hand. She says he wasn’t here, now he is here, come out, Jagabandhu knows you are hungry, we got some food also. She shows the laddoos. Jaggi comes out. She feeds the laddoos. Jaggi gets scared and hugs her. She says we are with you now.
Jagabandhu says justice will happen with entire village, I will go to Puri and talk to Maharaj, its time to bring a change by using weapons and fight injustice with rebel. Warren says I wanted this, the people should get afraid, then Jagabandhu will know the result of fighting us.
