Veera 2nd November 2012 Written Update

Epi starts with Ratan putting RV to bed. Sampooran is in deep thought; she tells him that she fought with God for no reason as God has given her everything; she adds that she has nothing more to ask and neither He anything go give. Sampooran says he’s tired and wants to sleep. Ratan apologizes for Kartar’s earlier situation. She goes on about trust in relationships. Sampooran tells her that he has made a mistake. RV gets a bad dream; Ratan consoles him.

The mystery woman is on a bus to Pritampura. A elderly man helps her with a ticket money. The man asks her where she has to go in that town; she replies to get a home for her daughter.

RV and his friend reach the Gurudwara. RV asks about the letter; he adds that he is ready to give up his toys for a sister and asks God to send one soon. The Granti comes and tells him that God has received his letter and he has also told his parents about it. RV gets upset about this, as they didn’t tell him about God’s reply.

Sampooran is doing laundry. He gets injured with RV’s bottle caps. Ratan comes and says she will do it, but Sampooran says that she shouldn’t be working in this condition. Ratan says she will be fine, and the baby will be strong like the first one. Sampooran says he wants a baby girl this time. Ratan replies that RV will get a brother just like Sampooran.
RV comes home, sulking. Ratan mocks him, saying that he’s acting like a girl. He asks them why they didn’t tell him about God’s letter. Sampooran tells him to not be upset and tickles him. Sampooran is about to tell him about Ratan’s pregnancy, when someone shows up.
The person tells him that there is Panchayat being called due to a couple fighting. The person says that women shouldn’t be calling Panchayat; Sampooran says that Panchayat is being called for justice, and there is no difference between men and women in Panchayat.

Ratan asks RV why he wants a sister. RV replied that only sisters tie Rakhi. Ratan says sisters are demanding. RV replies that he will learn and help her sister with everything. Ratan says that the red-winged eagle will drop her soon. RV gets excited and runs from there and tells the town.

At the Panchayat, Sampooran tells the couple about trust in relationships, and that neither should hide anything from each other. He says he didn’t want to break Ratan’s trust. Another man says that the Sarpanch is right, and Sampooran comes out of his trance. He finds the man guilty, and gives the woman the right to give him a punishment.

The mystery woman reaches Pritampura.

Several women are gathered around Ratan. Badi chachi scolds her for hiding her pregnancy. She orders sweets and drums. Ratan is dressed up, and the women dance around her.

Sampooran is dress shopping for Ratan. He sees the mystery woman, and goes to search for her, but in vain. The mystery woman asks for someone’s address. She ends up coming to Sampooran’s house.

Preview: Amrita (finally her name is revealed) is pleading with Sampooran that she had to come there with his daughter. Ratan hears it and is shocked.
