- Amruta’s parents learn that Veera is their grand-daughter.
- They introduce themselves to Ratan and apologise to her.
- Veera buys a new doll and tells Gunjan that she will ask Ratan to name it.
- Amruta’s parents tell Chaiji that they wish to take Veera with them.
- However, Chaiji denies and asks them to leave the house.
- Ratan falls into a dilemma whether she should let Veera go.
