Veera 26th January 2013 Written Update

Detailed update:
Its early morning. Ranvi and Veera are going to school. Veera notices Indian flags at shops and asks what is it. Ranvi tells her that it’s the tricolor flag of India and sale is on as its Republic day on January 26th. A flag is about to fall but Ranvi places it straight. Veera asks him to say about Republic Day. Ranvi tells her that it’s the day when the law to govern the Country was introduced for the first time. He says that many students from their school are participating in the drama. Veera expresses her interest to participate in drama. Ranvi takes her to talk to the teachers.

Students are giving auditions for the drama. Brother-sister duo notices their performances. A boy stammers and rest laugh. The teacher asks them to keep quiet and encourages the boy to continue. Baldev and his friend also come to the place. He tells Ranvi to go and clean the stage. Veera gets irritated and tells him that her Veerji will do something good.

Baldev makes fun of Ranvi saying he will not be able to do anything as he is not good at studies. He continues and Veera is getting more irritated. Baldev says Ranvi will be cleaning the stage after completes his performance regarding Bhaghat Singh. Veera challenges that Ranvi is the one who will be playing the role of Bhagat Singh and not him. Baldev taunts Ranvi as he tries explaining Veera that he will not be able to do.

Veera meets the teachers and requests them to allow her Veerji to play the role of Bhagat Singh. They ask her to tell her Veerji to give audition. Ranvi tries to bring Veera out but Veera is still adamant. She wants Ranvi to defeat Baldev else he will continue to make fun of them. Ranvi accepts. He gets the paper which has dialogues and reads it.

Ranvi is trying to learn the dialogues. Dalbir and Veera are with him. Ranvi stammers in middle while rehearsing. Veera asks why he is stammering. A boy comes and calls them that teacher is calling them. Dalbir says he has got an idea. Baldev is delivering his dialogues with power and without stammering. Ranvi thinks that Baldev should get the role as he is good but if he doesn’t get the role Veera will be defeated. Gunjan looks upset.

Its Ranvi’s turn. He doesn’t start. Ranvi prays to God before starting that Veera shouldn’t get defeated. He gets encouraged on seeing Veera. Dalbir shows thumbs up to Ranvi and explains to Veera that its just a sign of assurance that they are with him. Gunjan looks happy to see Ranvi telling the lines. Ranvi stammers suddenly. Veera turns showing her back to Ranvi. She has stuck a paper with the dialogues written boldly on it. Veera sneezes to indicate Ranvi to look at her. Ranvi notices it and then continues to say the dialogue properly. All children clap and smile except Baldev. A teacher supports Baldev but the rest support Ranvi saying that he delivers the dialogues with feel.

Ranvi is upset as he saw the dialogues and delivered. He feels bad that he deceived the teachers and wants to tell the truth. Dalbir stops him and says that Veera might get punished along with him. The teachers announce the role allotted to the children.

Veera and Ranvi’s friends are excited. The teachers call the children to give them the lines for drama. Veera does Bhanda before Baldev to irritate him. Ranvi takes her aside. Baldev’s friends tell him that Baldev must do the role of BS as he is Sarpanch’s son. Baldev is determined to do the role of BS at any cost.

The teacher praises Ranvi and asks him not to forget the lines as he did today. He tells Ranvi that they are giving him the role of BS with so much confidence in him. Veera assures them that her Veerji will be the best. Ranvi accepts the mistake he did during audition. The teachers are shocked. Ranvi asks them to punish him and assign Veera’s punishment also to him.

The teachers are happy that Ranvi told the truth to them. They say that he knew he would lose the role if he tells the truth yet he decided to confess and even Bhagat Singh can’t lie. The teacher says they have chosen the right person for the role and asks him to remember the lines properly next time. Ranvi request the teachers to assign a role to Veera also. Veera asks can she become either BS’s mother or sister. The teachers say they are not using that role for drama. But both insist as they want to be together. The teachers tell them that they will find some kind of role for Veera for sure. Both leave happily. The teacher wonders on what role to be given to Veera. Baldev is furious to see Ranvi interacting with his friends. He changes the dialogue papers to that of Gandhiji.

Ranvi informs Ratan and Chaiji that he is playing the role of Bhagat Singh in the school drama. Both of them congratulate him. Chaiji says even Sampooran had played the role of Bhagat Singh during his school days. She tries to keep a kaala tikka on his neck. But Veera asks Chaiji to stop saying she is dirtying her Veerji’s neck. Chaiji says ‘hurr’ and tells that she is not dirtying but just keeping a kaala tikka on his neck so that bad eyes don’t affect him. Veera asks whats ‘black eye’. Chaiji explains that they do so that anyone doesn’t fall ill when they do something good. Ranvi goes as he needs to learn the lines. Veera says them they even she is going to participate in the drama but not able to explain her role. She asks moti chaiji to come near. Veera takes kajal from her eyes and goes to beeji. She applies kaala tikka on beeji as she looks good while smiling.

Ranvi is studying. Veera asks him to read loudly as she is not able to hear him. But he says that he doesn’t need anything. Chaiji tells her to be quiet. She says Veera and Ranvi not to come near each other until he completes studying. Chaiji takes Veera with him. Baldev is rehearsing for drama. Gunjan notices it. Bansuri asks her not to disturb him as he is preparing for the play. Gunjan thinks as why her Veerji is rehearsing for BS when it is supposed to be done by Ranvi.

Veera insists that she will drink milk only when her Veerji comes. Ranvi recites the line. All three realize that he is telling wrong lines. Chaiji is worried all his efforts are in vain. Both kids run to teacher. She scolds them saying she remembers to have given the correct paper. Teacher gives correct paper and asks him to learn quickly as he has got less time. Ranvi is worried as how he will learn these much in few hours. Veera tells that she will help him this time. Baldev notices it.

Ranvi is talking to the fields saying that his father would have helped him if he was present here. Veera says she cannot see their father anywhere. Nihal notices the kids. Ranvi tells to Veera that their father is not hear but in their heart so he is talking to him. He starts to walk and learn. Veera follows him and repeats the dialogues. Ranvi tells her that he cannot do the drama as he is not remembering. He wants to convey this to teacher. Nihaal stops him. He tells him not to let down their father’s belief. Nihaal asks them not to break their father’s trust at any cost. Ranvi says even he doesn’t feel good but it would have been better if his father was here as he has taught many difficult subjects with ease. Nihaal advises him to learn in parts and offers help. Veera grabs the paper and hand it over to Nihaal.

Ranvi asks his beeji to bless him for the drama. Veera too asks for blessings. The teacher tells Veera to be a tree if she wants to be with her Veerji. She also says that they are asking her to be tree as she only insisted to get a role in drama. Baldev and gang are not happy that Ranvi got BS’s role. The ball they are playing with roles. A kid goes to get it and notices the big pit. All wonder why they have left a pit open. Baldev smiles on seeing the pit.

All kids are ready. Veera feels bad as she is same as other tree. So Ranvi decorates the cut out with real flowers. Veera is extremely happy that she is different from other. Baldev asks Gunjan where Ranvi is. She doesn’t respond but finally tells to search Ranvi. Baldev snatches the lipstick she has put it on ground and smashes it. He tells her that she is just becoming a villager and not Rani Laxmi Bai.

Baldev meets RanVeera. He tells them that Veera is looking so beautiful. Ranvi says that its because he decorated with flowers. Baldev directs him towards the place where he saw the pit saying there are better flowers there.He tells them that the dram will start late and also the place is nearer. Baldev is happy that no one can stop Ranvi from falling into the pit. He is sure that he can play the role of BS.
