gunjan is asked by chaiji to warm water on the mitti ka chulha. gunjan is very irritated on veera…she struggles with the work. veer comes and helps her…while gunjan sits sullen faced. as the fire burns…gunjan thinks that how she is stuck here in the house…and even her family is not with her. ratan tells chaiji how she is not uncomfortable with making gunjan work. but veera and chaiji make her understand how gunjan has to take care of the household work in future. ratan tells chaiji how happy she is that veer was nicely treated by bansuri & family.

veer ironing his clothes when he suddenly remembers all things told by gunjan and keeps the iron on the kurta for too long. veera comes running and sees that kurta had burned. veera scolds veer for taking things lying down with gunjan. veer says that he wants the best for gunjan and may she find happiness. veera is worried about veer and promises herself how she will make gunjan realize that how she has lost the true love of her brother.

veera goes to gunjan and sees her struggling. she makes fun of her low intelligence and advices her to first put the vessel on the chulha and then fill it with water rather than the vice versa. veera taunts her and gunjan shouts at her…but chaiji comes and asks her whats the matter. veera says that gunjan has great pleasure in working for veer and says that gunjan has insisted on ironing veer’s clothes.

at gunjan’s place…bansuri is praising veer and balwant asks why she is suddenly showering so much love on veer. bansuri says that how veer will support baldev in the coming sarpanch elections…but balwant interrupts her saying that veer only deserves the sarpanch’s post. bansuri says that veer might not want to contest the elections at all. balwant wonders whats going on in her mind. in the meantime baldev asks about a gift left by gunjan veer…and insists that he will go to veer’s home and give it to them.

while gunjan is ironing clothes..veera calls out to her for taking the water. gunjan is all frustrated and as she carries the heavy bucket veera wlaks along taunting her. but just before the stairs veer takes the bucket and goes. veera says that her veer may be soft hearted but she will make sure that those who make her dear ones suffer…are not spared…
gunjan goes to her room and promises herself that she will give veera back..

ratan and chaiji praise the gifts that bansuri has send them,,,,,while everyone admires the gifts…they realize that bansuri hadnt given anything for gunjan. veera sees gunjan coming down and wonders out aloud about why bansuri didnt give gunjan anything. ratan and chaiji offer their gifts to gunjan..which she politely turns down. she says that a younger member of the family giving her gift is still acceptable…everyone looks at veera who had got a payal from bansuri. veera offers her the payal saying that for her veer…she can even give her life. gunjan tales it with insistence from chaiji. baldev comes and gives her the gift from bansuri…gunjan is very happy.
