Veera 21st December 2012 Written Update

Episode begins with chaiji telling Ranvi off for not completing his school work…she orders him to finish it off and to not see Veera until tell…Ranvi argues and chaiji yells at him and ranvi leaves the room with his books…Veera yells at chaiji for scolding her veerji…

Gurpreet is getting ready to go to the doctors and has back pain when Kartar assures that it will be well soon and that they will get all her tests done when they visit the doctor today…Ratan comes to see Kartar about some legal papers that Ranvi had misplaced…she asks him for the officers address but Kartar says that he will get the work done…Gurpreet doesnt like that Kartar is helpful to Ratan…she taunts about how Kartar gives Ratan and her work top priority and expresses her dislike on their relation…Kartar is speechless…

Little Veera goes to a an elder person in the village whom she calls daddu and asks him if he can read and write…she asks asks if he can erase a name and rewrite it…daddu asks what she wants and Veera shows her gullak and says that her veerji always writes her name on everything, but she wants daddu to erase her name and write her veerji’s name on it…daddu says he forgot his glasses and aks why her veerji hasnt sent her to a school when she is 5 yrs old…Veera sweetly prays to God that daddu never finds his glasses for bad mouthing her veerji

Ranvi looks at the big field and thinks of what Sampooran had once said to him…He recollects the promise that he had made ot his dad of starting a school…He apologizes to his dad for not being able to fulfil his wish as he has flunked thrice but says that Veera will make his wish come true…He then think of Veera not at school yet and thinks feels sad that his beeji couldn’t think of Veera beacuse she’s busy being the man of the house and has many duties of her own…

Ratan asks Gurpreet about her back and tells Kartar off for not taking her to the doctor…Gurpreet tells her that she isn’t as important as her neither is her health…ratan notices the accusation in her tone…She tells Kartar to get her checked…Kartar promises Gurpreet that he will take her to the doctors tomorrow morning and leaves asking Gurpreet to take care…Ratan then tells Gurpreet to look after herself and when she’s at the doctors, get all other gynaecological checks done as well…She says that its upto God to bless her with children and says she feels her pain as she has been through the same after Ranvi…She shares how she prayed for another child and God blessed her as well…She tells Gurpreet how much they need Sampooran to be back as Ranvi is growing up and needs all answers…Gurpreet says she’ll pray for Sampooran’s return coz only that will make everything ok for everyone…

Ranvi runs to the school clerk and asks if he can get Veera to school from tomorrow…A lady teacher comes and tells Ranvi that Veera can’t go to school unless her name is on the list of the kids that will be interviewed…she says Veera can be added to the list only if there is a drop out or else he would have to take Veera to the city to get her admitted to a school..Ranvi gets worried over Veera’s school and wonders how he can send his Veera to the city…

Veera goes to a lady who’s busy with her work and asks her to write Rani’s name on her gullak…The lady says she can’t coz she can’t read or write and Veera compares herself to the lady …Baldev spots Veera and offers to write Ranvi’s name and taks the gullak from Veera…he asks Veera why she wants to write ranvi;s name when they can share the money in the gullak and have kulfi with it…Veera tries to snatch back the gullak from Baldev and in the fight she bites his hand when baldev asks for help from Gunjan but she doesnt help…Veera runs away with the gullak and Baldev asks Gunjan why she didnt help him and Gunjan says he gave her just a pen on rakhi and broke it too so she wont help him…

Ranvi goes home disheartened and chaiji think its coz she had scolded him earlier…she tells Ranvi that he will have to study well anyhow but Ranvi says its about Veera and school admission..Ranvi tells how Veera can’t go to school this year as her name wasn’t registered …Chaiji says sorry to Ranvi for not getting Veera’s name on the list and asks Ranvi not to cry…Veera comes running to see her veerji and asks him when she can go to school so she can learn how to read and write…Ranvi is sad to hear Veera say that but Ratan comes and tells them that she has registered Veera’s name and she will be called for an interview soon…Ranvi is elated and runs to hugs Ratan and Veera follows…She hugs Ratan too and Ranvi makes Ratan put her hand on Veera like she did to him…

Precap: Ranvi and Veera are in the market to buy something for Ratan…Veera starts bargaining with the vendor and says 1 rupee is too much …she would have gone to the city to get it in half the price but she doesnt have the time…
