Veera 19th December 2012 Written Update

Episode begins with Veera doing Ranvi’s tilak and tieing rakhi on his hand…Veera feeds Ranvi gulab jamun and Ranvi dies the same and Chaiji says this is the pind’s most unique rakhri where both bro and sis share it equally…Then chaiji asks Ranvi to give Veera her gift …Ranvi asks Veera to shut her eyes while he bends over to get her present and Veera peeks through with one eye …Chaiji asks her to shut both eyes…Veera says then how will she know what he Veerji bought for her…Ranvi then hands her a gullak (piggy bank) and Veera wonders what the pot is all about…Ranvi tells her that he made it for her and she can put money in it and soon she’ll have lots of money to spend…Ranvi shows his own gullak to Veera and Veera asks why he hasnt used the money from his gullak…Ranvi says he never felt the need for it…He then fills Veera’s gullak with all the coins he has…Veera then asks chaiji to put some money in…Chaiji yells at Veera for calling her chay(tea)ji inatead of moti chaiji…Ranvi asks her not to yell at her Veera…Chaiji asks veera to again to say her name right but Veera ask her to put some more money in her bank and only then she will say it right…Chaiji throws a tantrum and says first it was Guddu, then Ratan, then Ranvi and now little Veera who annoy her…she calls them bandar and bandarya and the kids laugh at her…

Ratan walks in with breakfast and Veera runs to her and asks her to put some money in her money bank but Ratan says she hasnt got any and leaves…this upsets Ranvi and Chaiji calls Veera to her and puts fills her gullak with all the coins she has…Ranvi is cheered to see Veera happy…and they start breakfast when Ratan tells Ranvi to check if Veera is sneaking into the butter bowl…when Veer ais shown taking a dollop of the butter and stuffing her mouth…chaiji tells her off and Ranvi feeds her…Veera says that she forgot to give him a present when Ranvi says its only the brother who gives the present and Veera asks why…Chaiji tells her that its tradition and Veera asks what that means…Chaiji gets frustrated with the hundreds of questions the bro sis ask…Veera then tells Ranvi that she’ll make paratha for him and Ranvi says she can’t coz she’s little…Veera goes to the kitchen and tells Ratan that she wants to make paratha for her Veerji but ratan says she can’t coz she’s very young but Veera says she’s five years old and is not little anymore…she requests Ratan again but Ratan asks her to go and says she can make a paratha when her gullak is full…She gives Ranvi some money and asks him to get her soem meds for her headache…Veera leaves and Chaiji comes to pacify Ratan …Ratan says she’s made a deal with rab ji that she’ll accept Veera as her kid and will look after her only if he returns her husband…Chaiji prays to God for ratan’s wishes to come true…

Veera thinks of an idea for filling her gullak…she ties a band around her head just like ratan and goes out on the streets and asks the villagers to money in her moneybox and when a lady asks what she needs the money for she says her head is hurting and she needs the money to get some meds…

Dalbeer spots Ranvi and calls out to him…He praises Ranvi’s rakhi and Ranvi says its coz Veera tied it …Dalbeer’s sister is grown up as well and is playing with her little kitchen playset…she makes tea for both Dalbeer and Ranvi and Ranvi says why are the cups so small and enquires abou the tiny kitchen set …Dalbeer tells Raniv that his dad bought it from the city…Ranvi instantly thinks of Veera and her wish to cook parathas for him…He asks Dalbeer if the paly set is only available in the city and not the village and Dalbeer says the cities have everything…Ranvi smiles and leaves…

Veera is still on a mission to fill her money bank and Ranvi gives the meds to ratan and asks if she wants a head massage but Ratan says there’s no need as she’s had meds and will be ok soon and hugs Ranvi…

Baldev hasnt changed in appearance or habits…but Gunjan has…she complains of him giving her just a pen on rakhi…Baldev tells her to leave him alone and that he bought what he thought was best…Gunjan tells him that he always takes stuff from her and she wants more than a pen or she’ll tell their dad abt it…Baldev says he isnt scared and she says she wont talk to him …Baldev tells her off again and their dad watches them quarrel…he then shouts at Baldev…

Raniv at home thinks how he can get the kitchen playset for Veera when he hasnt been to the city ever..he thinks of asking Kartar or someones ot get it but he will get the set today itself as its rakhi…he breaks his gullak and finds lots of money and promises to get the kitchen set for veera so she can make play parathas for him…

Precap: Ranvi hops on to a jeep thats going to the city and prays all goes well on his forst ever visit to the city…
