Ranveera and Chaiji are waiting for Karan but then since its getting late Ratan comes and asks everyone to have dinner as Veera’s friend might not come. However, seeing Veera’s pleading eyes, Ranvi says they’ll wait for him and Chaiji too feigns of not being so hungry. Ratan goes away and Chaiji too excuses herself. Veera suspects Baldev’s involvement in keeping Karan away and tells the same to Ranvi. Ranvi gives Veera his phone to call Baldev. On the other hand, Veera’s suspicion turns out to be right and Karan and Baldev are having dinner while Baldev silently vows of not letting Karan go to Veera’s house today.
Bansuri is making Gunjan cook Parathas. Gunjan cribs and is about to leave but Bansuri stops her saying they have to make a lot of preparations to please this Delhi guy. Gunjan curses him and says they shouldn’t waste so much time on him. Bansuri gets irriated and tells her that she’s doing this for Baldev.
Karan asks Baldev for his phone to call Veera as his phone’s battery has died down. Baldev lies that there’s no signal and asks him to party with him the whole night. Baldev asks if Veera is his girlfried to which Karan denies saying there’s nothing like that. Baldev offers to take Karan with him for drinks. Just then Ranveera reaches there and Veera is angry to see Karan with Baldev. She confronts him. Veera accuses Karan of insulting her and her family and says she doesn’t even want to see his face. Ranvi is yet not able to see Karan’s face. Veera goes back to Ranvi and when Ranvi asks if she’s not taking her friend home but Veera replies she doesn’t want to. Ranvi tells her she shouldn’t say like this. To Baldev’s disappointment, Karan goes to where Ranveera are. Ranvi sees Karan but doesn’t recognize him. Karan apologize to Veera but she’s still angry. Ranvi gets a call and needs to go somewhere urgently, he asks Karan to take Veera home.
Veera is angry but Ranvi coax her to go with Karan. Baldev is angry and taunts Ranvi that he let Veera go with a stranger alone at this hour. Ranvi says he trusts Veera and he’s no stranger but Veera’s friend. Baldev speaks rubbish about Veera and Ranvi gets angry. He holds Baldev by his shirt collar, warning him to not speak a word against Veera as he won’t ever tolerate it. Ranvi says he knows Veera well and she’ll never betray his trust. Ranvi tells Baldev he neither has any right nor is there any need for him to question about Veera and her whereabouts.
Bansuri and Gunjan extensively set the table for Karan decorating it with all the flowers and candles. Balwant questions about the candles and Gunjan replies this is how people eat food in cities. Bansuri defends their layout but Balwant rebukes her.
Chaiji is waiting for Veera but Ratan is upset with Veera and her friend. She asks Chaiji to eat. They hear the sound of bike and Chaiji calls Ratan to welcome the guest. Karan greets them and Veera introduces to Chaiji and Ratan. Chaiji and Ratan goes inside and Veera takes Karan to show her the house. Chaiji is watching their interaction. Veera shows Karan Sampooran’s picture and praises her Papaji. When Karan asks Veera about Sampooran she tells him that she was very young when Sampooran left. Karan and Veera both look solemn.

Karan is in Ratan’s room telling her that how Veera kept talking about her all the while when in college. He tells her that everyone in college knows Ratan and she’s quite famous thanks to Veera while Veera is at the door, a little tensed. Veera calls Karan out saying Beeji must be tired and would want to sleep. Karan excuses himself and turns to leave but Ratan stops him.
