Varun Dhawan’s Topi Tale
Actor Varun Dhawan lends a helping hand to patiwala by stepping into his shoes and doing his work.
Only a couple of movies old, but Varun Dhawan has proved himself time and again as one of the most grounded and large-hearted actors from amongst the new generation of leading men.
Taking this image one step further, Varun Dhawan will be seen stepping into the shoes of patiwala Prabhakar Karale on Colors’ recently launched show, Mission Sapne. As a part of this initiative, the young actor toiled hard under the scorching sun and carried heavy goods shopped for by the Crawford Market visitors in a straw basket.
While the actor has proved time and again that a little preparation can go a long way, he was keen to replicate this mantra even as he turned patiwala for Mission Sapne. And how did he prepare himself you ask? Even before he started filming for the episode, Varun Dhawan informed the makers of the show that he would like for a patiwala’s trademark topi to be made available for his experience.
In fact, Varun enjoyed his experience so much that even after returning to the studio to calculate the amount he had earned, he kept the topi on and united with Prabhakar Karale not only through his work, but also with his heart and spirit!
