Vandana Singh to enter the revamped Aaj Ki Housewife; Sona is all set to unravel the….

Zee TV’s Aaj Ki Housewife Hai… Sab Jaanti Hai (produced by Gulshan Sachdeva) is going through a revamp with the present family bidding adieu to the viewers with the exception of the leads Anirudh Dave and Suhasi Dhami along with veteran actress Himani Shivpuri.

We had earlier reported about Surendra Pal essaying the patriarch of the new family coming in the show. We now have more on the new cast and track of the show.

Vandana Singh, the Punjabi actress who was last seen on the small screen as Champa in Zee TV’s Phir Subah Hogi will play the new love interest of Kanhaiya (Anirudh Dave). She will essay the role of Chitrashi, who is the young widow in the family of Siddheshwar Singh (Surendra Pal). She happens to be the widow of the third son of Siddheshwar. Amongst the other cast, Amar Sharma who earlier essayed the role of Madan Singh in Colors’ Balika Vadhu has been roped in to play the first son of Surendra Pal. Newbie Mayur Mehta will play one of the sons in the family.

As per the track, a reliable source tells us that Kanhaiya has been getting flashes of the village Shrirampur and Shakti dham haveli. He is not able to connect things, and Sona (Suhasi Dhami) who is aware of Kanhaiya’s state of mind decides to find out the connection to the places as Kanhaiya has never been to these places before. Slowly but steadily, Sona will start getting clues to the mystery, which she is due to unravel on Maghi Purnima day. With this, the track called ‘Maghi Purnima Ka Raaz’ will unfold in the Zee TV show.

Also, there will be a track wherein Chitrashi, the young widow of Siddheshwar Singh’s family will fall for Kanhaiya, thus kick-starting a triangle love story between Sona, Kanhaiya and Chitrashi.

When contacted, Vandana Singh confirmed the news stating, “Yes I essay a very simple girl who has been widowed in childhood. I do not have much details as I have not started shooting with the new family.”

Suhasi Dhami, Sona of Housewife explained, “Yes, Housewife is due for a revamp wherein the plot changes from the house to a new setup. There will be a new family coming in. Kanhaiya has been getting flashes that relate him to a different place. Incidentally, when he comes to Shrirampur for work, he gets more of these flashes and Sona will try her best to know what is troubling Kanhaiya.”

She went on to say, “I will surely miss shooting with the old family. Having said this, any new change is for the good and I am looking forward to this track bringing in better numbers.”
