[V] The Buddy Project 23rd October 2012 Written Update

Everyone in the class doing their stuff i.e. KD is reading newspaper, Kiya is sleeping, Bobby is playing with her ball, Piddi on the PSP, Juhi on her phone, Panchi reading a book and RV talking to alien on the phone. He is apologizing for his slip of tongue and says that nothing is going on between him and Panchi. Panchi is listening to all of this. He is acting all pathetic with Alien and asks for her permission to disconnect the phone Before disconnecting he says that he hasn’t had lunch and will eat something from the canteen. Panchi hears this and after he is done, she gives offers him lunch from her lunch box. He becomes his usual jerk self and lashes out at her for eavesdropping on his conversation (I don’t even want to curse anymore ) and walks away from there angrily. Panchi says to the camera that she is Idiot No. 1 for thinking about him all the time. She shouldn’t give a damn if he starves or has lunch in the canteen (Oh yeah I remember, RV never had lunch in canteen. Panchi always brought him lunch ) and that she shouldn’t care about him. KD glances at the sleeping Kiya and smiles. He says to the camera that Kiya looks quite cute while sleeping. Just then, Piddi and Bobby create some ruckus and Kiya wakes up. She notices KD looking at her and apologizes that she just dozed off. KD says that it’s ok. He says that Kiya looks tired and asks did she sleep last night or not? Kiya has a fb of the previous night where Anya blackmails her into replying to 750 fanmails on Facebook and instructs her to reply sweetly so that her fans know just how sweet their idol is in real life (REALLY?! ) Kiya lies to KD that she and Anya were watching a movie and it got late that’s why she couldn’t sleep properly.

JJ comes in the class and says that he has a great news for them. He says that he feels so happy seeing the class full of talented youngsters. Piddi mumbles that JJ has entered the wrong class then. JJ continues that he won’t throw a bomb at them, instead it’s a great and life changing news for them. He tells them about the Alpha Plus Competition (APC). KD mumbles first TBP and now APC, JJ seems to have some kind of a problem. Kiya says to KD that APC is a presitigious competition. JJ hears this and says that APC is a tri-school competition and RA is hosting it this year. APC will test the students’ physical strength, IQ, general knowledge and singing&dancing capabilities. The school which excels in all these fields wins. JJ and Princi think that the Buddies will be the best team to represent RA. But there is one problem, they are blacklisted so they can’t participate. RV says, good to know as no one is interested (yaar ap shutup hojaein! ) Piddi says that it’s unfair that they can’t participate. JJ appreciates this. He says that there is one way for them to participate. Banga has made a team and the Buddies have to defeat Banga’s team in a competition to official represent RA in APC. Piddi asks what is the challenge of the competition and JJ says that since Banga has decided that, he has no clue. But JJ knows one thing that if they all are together and give it their all, they can win any competition in the world. Piddi gets excited hearing this and starts jumping the way he does. JJ looks at him and says that it’s true humans are descendants of apes but Piddi doesn’t have to prove it again and again. JJ says that they have to prove their words with actions not with words. Their panga with Banga is old and it’s about time they grow up from their silly pranks. They have gotten a chance to legally defeat Banga at his own game. This time they can compete with their heads held high and prove their worth. APC will happen after 2 weeks but the competition with Banga will happen after 2 days. He adds one last thing that everyone in the school thinks that they are losers. Life has given them a chance to prove otherwise. They have a chance to completely erase that loser label from their lives otherwise they have to live with it forever. The ball is in their court now. JJ leaves.

Juhi gets up and starts searching for the ball Samar tells her that JJ was being figurative, not literal. KD gets up and says that JJ is right, this is a chance of a life time. It’s not just about RA but their own pride as well. Piddi says that’s alright but we don’t even what our task is? KD says that’s one problem but the other is to figure who will participate in what. Piddi says going by JJ’s words, APC is about the categories that he mentioned. If that’s the case then Samar, KD and Bobby can win any game of physical strength. Kiya, Juhi and RV will take care of the music and dance department and Piddi and Panchi will deal with the IQ and GK stuff. Samar agrees with Piddi that Juhi can dance anywhere as he has witnessed this RV says that these motivational speeches are good only for words not in action. Unless we don’t know about Banga’s strategy we can’t do anything. With this said, he goes out of the class. Panchi defends him a little saying that she agrees he tends to say idiotic stuff but when his need will arise, he will join them Kiya asks KD what to do now? KD says that they will figure out something and everyone should relax and go home. To Kiya he says that she needs to sleep

Piddi and KD in locker room. Piddi is restless. KD takes out some adult CDs from his locker and scolds Piddi for putting such dirty stuff in his locker. Piddi pays no heed and says that what to do of our current problem? KD smiles and says that he has a plan. Piddi says that it’s because of our mind blowing plans that we are stuck in TBP. KD says that Banga will never let us win and our only chance of winning is to find out what does Banga have up his sleeve. If only they had a microphone. Piddi says that he will arrange of that.

At the adda (which is called The Buddy Cafe or TBC, I found it out today ) Samar is with Piddi and KD. Samar says he is no RAW agent to get hold of microphone and such spy stuff. He paces for a while then gets an idea. He says to KD that there is a Dictaphone which can record up to 10 hours. Banga will brief his team in his office, if they plant the Dictaphone there they problem will be solved. Samar says that he can arrange for it but Piddi will have to plant it. Piddi says he why does he always have to do such stuff? He says that someone of short height should do it. That way their work will be done and no one will realize it. Samar and KD give each other a glance and put their arms on Piddi’s shoulder. Piddi looks up at them and figures out that he is the only man for the job

Piddi goes to Banga’s office with a sweet box. He tells Banga that he has become an uncle so that’s why he is distributing sweets as it’s a happy news. It’s also the first time someone shorter than him is present in the house Banga congratulates him and tells him to put the sweet box on the other table. Piddi does his job and gets out of there happily.

At TBC, Piddi arrives dancing happily saying that the work is done. KD asks whether Banga suspected anything? Piddi says that he had such a fool proof that Banga didn’t realize anything. KD says that Piddi is such a talented fool that no plan is fool proof in front of him He asks Piddi to recount his plan. Piddi does so and starts dancing again. He takes out the handkerchief from his pocket and the Dictaphone falls out. Samar and KD watch this. Samar picks it up and says to KD had he asked for anything else, God would’ve granted it. KD wanted to see the Dictaphone, here it is! KD slaps Piddi and asks if the Dictaphone is with them, what did Piddi plant there? Piddi says that he mistakenly planted his cell phone there and it wasn’t on silent. KD says that when Piddi knows the phones are not allowed on normal mode in school, why wasn’t his phone on silent? Piddi asks what will happen now? KD replies he knows nothing. Piddi begs that KD is his brother and he should do something. KD says that what now? Piddi should go and take back the phone because if Banga sees it, they are finished.

Precap – Piddi fools Banga and Vats into searching for Banga’s gold ring in the office and sneaks the phone out. The gang together and KD says, “Ready?” All of them say “YES!”
