[V] The Buddy Project 15th August 2012 Written Update

Kiya finds herself a partner from the other school and agrees to go inside with him (the part was cut in the video, I just assumed things ). A girl from Royal asks KD to escort her inside since her date wasn’t here yet and her friends were late. KD agrees. In the line, Kiya’s “date” (I’ll just call him FL – Freakin’ Loser!) is behind Kiya and kind of feeling her back and winking at his friend behind him. Kiya doesn’t notice much but KD does. He has this surpressed anger look on his face and his concerned eyes follow Kiya as she heads inside.

Ranveer points towards Panchi and that Chubby is stunned! He says that she won’t ever dance with me because girls like to dance with guys like Ranveer and only use guys like Chubby. Chubby says she might slap him but Ranveer rolls his eyes and hands him the drink. He says that she is his friend and she’s a “darling” (awww!) and won’t say no. Just go and ask her for a dance. Chubby is really nervous but Ranveer the Love Guru (the hottest Love Guru in blue ) whispers something in his ear and Chubby gets all confident and leaves after thanking. Ranveer says to the camera that now Panchi is busy, it’s time for me to get busy as well!

Kiya enters the club with FL (oooh! she is looking ravishing HOT!!! ) FL is a little too excited. KD enters behind them and his partner just leaves him and goes inside (not that he minds or cares ) Samar and Juhi are dancing? More like Samar is dancing and Juhi is busy clicking pictures. She shoves Samar and says not to ruin her pics. Samar says that she is here to party not on some photoshoot and that she should dance. Juhi retorts that you have to give proof to people that you are attending the coolest party of the year and this pics help. Samar says you have to give them some scoops as well, not just pics. This gets Juhi’s interest. In exchange of making her dance, Samar tells her a gossip about a girl across the floor who sends her date to bring her drink and then disappears in Ladies Room with another guy following her inside (HAILA! Nawab Sahab tou gossip column writer nikle! Is that his deep dark secret he is hiding from everyone?!) Anyway, they are busy gossiping and another double meaning joke follows which Juhi doesn’t get (must applaud the writers here and should make peace with this, I always get shocked before laughing at these double meaning )

Chubby approaches Panchi and hands her the drink. She says thanks to him but when she sees that he isn’t moving, she offers him a tip but he says he isn’t a waiter. His name is Mohit. He tries this extra cheesy pickup line with her which he messes up (It was so easy and common! This one! “Are you hurt?” “Why?” “Falling from Heaven must be painful.” I mean, it was so easy! And he says Hell instead of Heaven! Kya Chubby! Itna bhi mushkil nahin tha!) Panchi catches the eye of Ranveer who is dancing with another girl and he gives her a thumbs up. Panchi looks sad. She asks Chubby whether Ranveer taught him the lines. Chubby nods. Panchi says angrily that someone is gonna get slapped today! Chubby is sad with a ‘this was bound to happen look’ but Panchi clarifies that she meant Ranveer and not him. Anyway, Chubby finally asks her for a dance and she agrees. Chubby starts acting like a Chipku, asking her for a picture, saying he would tag her, asking whether he can send a FB friend request. Panchi is taken back a little but quickly says that Tina, the love of her life, would mind. Chubby is heart-broken when Panchi points at a random girl. He excuses himself saying he has to call his father (OMG! Daddy ka phone!!! Reminds me of a class joke we played two years ago on a friend ) A girl (the same teddy bear wali churail ) walks to Panchi and taunts that Ranveer ditched you and that he will never grow up as he still brings his teddy bear everywhere. Panchi is sad. When she sees Ranveer dancing with that TC (teddy churail), she walks away.

FL is dancing with Kiya and is trying to get close to her. KD is watching all this. But then he turns around (there’s this really cool visual! Just as KD turns around at the bar counter, the counter is on fire! Damn sexy!) Two boys walk at the counter and taunt Royals’ dancing. KD retorts. They have this war of words same as precap where KD says the boys can’t afford his lessons (waah mere Sher!). The boys ask for a 1000 rs. bet and KD smirks that this isn’t a kindergarten competition of singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars” (OMG! Attitude ho tou aisa! Damn you sexy thing!!!) The bet increases to 10,000. The boy points to a guy dancing on the floor and says he is the dance champion of their school. KD asks for money. The boy puts 5000 on the counter, KD’s to keep if he wins. If he loses, the boy will make him pay in all ways (he shows a threatening fist at him. Ye bhi loser hai! KD has fire in his eyes I tell you but it’s more due to the reflection of fire from the counter Another stunning visual! )

The tashan begins! The music is from Dhoom Again. Kiya is in the crowd, rolling her eyes. Anywho, KD wins (THE MAN HAS GOT SOME MOVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dang! It was so SHORT! But WOW! Fahad can DANCE! Killer moves I tell you!!) Kiya is at the bar, drinking shots and watching KD dance. She has all these FBs of KiSha moments. After she is done, she moves towards the dance floor and starts dancing with KD. Music is “Main Sharabi” (wow nice selection ) And KiSha begin to dance! (ab ye kaise explain karun! Just watch it for yourselves! One thing I can say, halfway through KD pulls Kiya closer and they dance – TOGETHER! A fast couple dance on a party song, not bad eh? ) Khair, Samar is enjoying seeing them dance. While dancing, Kiya sort of trips and falls in KD’s arms (totaly filmy sa pose. Couldn’t help but noticing but in this position when they were having a staring contest, the lines of the song were “Sharaab peene ka ye faida nirala hai, aam sa chehra bhi jannat hi hoor lagta hai”. Ab main kya kahun? Was it some twisted joke? AAAH! Moving on! ) They are having their moment when Ranveer comes there with the TC and sees them. He is shocked for a while but then rolls his eyes and walks away with TC

Dance is over and KD is again at the counter. Samar is all praises for him. The bet boy comes and hands over the money. He genuinely praises Samar and KD. Juhi is dancing with Kiya and is praising her dance with KD. Kiya accepts everything with her coolness. The FL is checking out Kiya with his leery eyes and is pointing out her curves (sahi mein FL bulati hun aisse! ). He makes a remark that girls are like roads, more curves lead to more accidents. KD hears all this and this time the fire in his eyes is real! He is damn furious!

FC goes to Kiya and praises her. She says thanks. He asks her for her autograph on his handkerchief as she is the most “beautiful and graceful” dancer he has ever seen. Kiya kisses the handkerchief and gives it to him. He asks her for the last dance of the night. Kiya doesn’t say anything but they continue to dance. He is getting all close to her and KD is looking at all this from a little distance. He is all angry at the way FL is touching Kiya but resists for a while. Ultimately, he can’t! He walks towards them and forcefully removes FL’s hand from Kiya’s waist. FL is surprised. KD warns Kiya to stay away from FL as she doesn’t know his plan. FL asks Kiya if KD is her possessive boyfriend but Kiya refuses. KD warns her again but FL taunts KD saying that guys like him are meant for social work only and Kiya takes KD around with him. Kiya asks KD to buzz off and asks FL to come with her but KD stops him (style se! ) FL taunts KD by calling him a doormat. KD says call me whatever but she ain’t going with you. FL pushes KD and KD warns him not to. But when he does again, KD slaps him! (I thought punch karega! But HAILA! Kya chammat mari! ) Kiya walks away from there before insulting KD that who is he to take care of her and that he always creates scene and she can’t stand the sight of him. FL follows her after saying to KD that KD’s part is over now and that he (FL) will fulfill his part soon. When he leaves, FL’s gang starts beating KD up.

Juhi is busy shooting it all. Samar comes there and asks her what is she doing. She tells him about the fight. Samar goes to Ranveer and tells him about the fight. Ranveer at first is all ready to fight but seeing KD, he stops. When Samar asks him about it, Ranveer says he won’t fight for KD. KD always wants to be a hero so let him be one. Samar says I am not asking you to fight for KD, I am asking you to fight for Royal! He says that Ranveer and KD’s fight is alright within school but here is it’s the fight between RA and Sunville!

KD’s all being bashed up, getting punched. One guy is about to punch KD but a hand stops the fist (MERA HERO! MERA RANVEER! APNI MOTI KA NONU!!!!!!! ) A fight breaks out and the losers are beaten by the Trio (hayee mere Jawano! Naam roshan kar ditta mera!! )

Outside, Kiya is with FL. FL is instigating Kiya against KD but Kiya just wants to go home. He stops her but Kiya rebukes him by saying not to touch her like that again. FL starts getting all touchy touchy to her and she feels comfortable and resists his attempts to get close. He says that she will go home but with him and on his conditions. He is holding Kiya violently and is getting close to her. JJ comes there (total hero ishtyle mein! Asli hero jo hai! ) and holds FL by his wrist. The grip is really strong. JJ is furious! He says that he understands teenage and raging hormones so the best punishment for FL would be to break all his bones. Two of FL’s friends rush there, threatening JJ but one look from JJ and they are paralyzed (JJ na hua, Medusa ka baal ban gaya ) JJ shoves FL towards his friends and they run away from there.

Kiya thanks JJ and JJ asks her about her friends. Kiya lies that they left. JJ says if they were your friends, they wouldn’t have left you with FL. JJ calms her down and says to wipe the tears as he is not good with them. He says it’s not you fault. Kiya apologizes and JJ offers her to drop her home. Kiya agrees and they leave.

Next morning in RA!!

Juhi is busy gossiping with girls. She sees Kiya and goes to her to tell the gossip. She is about to tell about the fight when Samar calls for Juhi. Kiya leaves and Samar stops Juhi from talking to Kiya as the fight happened because of her and she hasn’t even thanked anyone (Samar has a bruise under his eye ) . He says that the group has decided to boycott Kiya and Juhi should choose sides.

Some girls are talking about the party and Panchi is disturbed listening to it. She leaves from there only to be stopped by Ranveer who wants to talk to her. But Panchi is giving him the royal ignore by asking Juhi about the pics from the party. Ranveer is trying to ask her why did she leave without informing anyone and that he was worried (awww!!!! ) but Panchi asks him to talk later as she is busy. Ranveer has a total W T F!? look on his face . Panchi and Juhi are busy looking at the photos. Panchi praises Juhi that she looked pretty in the party and Juhi says the same. She wants to show a top secret photo to Panchi whom she hasn’t shown to anyone yet. Panchi glances at Ranveer who had been towering over their heads and says they should do it in private and leave from there. Ranveer is appalled by her behavior and follows them out (oh my Ranveer! Ye tou hona hi tha! )

Kiya enters the locker room just as the trio leaves and almost bumps into KD. KD ignores her but she follows him saying that she wants to talk to him. KD has earphones in his ear, indicating…well…ignorance? Kiya mentions FL and KD cuts across saying that he knows she “scored” last night but he didn’t know that she would be telling this to everyone. Kiya is hurt and shocked by his words. KD is majorly disgusted by Kiya and is asking question about the night whether she had fun or not? Kiya is angry but he says that high society people are strange. It’s alright for them to leave with a stranger for a night but when someone talks about it, they get angry. KD walks away and Kiya is majorly hurt.

In D-class, Samar is busy telling Ranveer about his bruises from the fight, all the details as how he got them. Ranveer cuts him across and points to his own hickey that he got it from Sheena on the library stairs () Samar is displeased at this that Ranveer ruined his story and mood () but Ranveer says that he is sorry but he just wanted an excuse to tell his story (oh my god! Ranveer!! ) Piddi enters the classroom in a total Devdaas mode. He looks at Bobby, who is all silent, and remembers the slap. Carressing his cheek, he walks to the boys. Samar asks him why he didn’t come to the party as it was great fun. Ranveer says Juhi must’ve shown him everything but Samar adds that what’s fun in videos as live action was much better. Ranveer agrees by adding that the party had everything, dance, action and comedy. Samar is confused at the comedy statement and asks what was comedy in the party and Ranveer says, “Tera dance!” (true that! )

Piddi asks Ranveer for his laptop saying so what he didn’t come to the party, he will celebrate his party here. Ranveer teases him that he can’t do anything in detention. The teasing goes on as Piddi keeps asking for the laptop. Ranveer gives him the laptop and speakers. Piddi takes the laptop and puts it on the teacher’s table and starts dancing on “Chinta Ta Ta” () KD asks him to sit but Piddi refuses. Samar does the same and says that JJ must be coming anytime soon.

Piddi is in the school hall and students are gathering. JJ is standing in front of him saying that you like to dance so I’ll make you dance.Rest of the dentention group arrive there. JJ asks Piddi for his phone (he is really angry!) and plays a song. (It’s “Aa Re Pritam Pyare”). JJ shouts Piddi to dance. Seeing this, KD’s starts clenching his fist angrily and JJ notices this. He looks at the group. Bobby is silent, Kiya is smirking, Ranveer is furious and Samar is a little shocked. KD walks to Piddi and says JJ to stop this as Piddi won’t dance (DEKHA! KD was the first one to defend HIS Piddi! My Dostana couple! I was missing them! )

JJ walks to KD and asks him to repeat what he said. KD does. JJ comments, “Too many jokers, not enough circuses.” KD is angry at this and asks JJ who did he call a “Joker”? JJ taunts him that he knew the likes of KD can’t understand what he said. KD says he doesn’t know how to reply in “dialogues”. JJ asks him how does he know to reply? Kiya seems to be enjoying this face off as she is continually smirking while Ranveer is shown furious. Before anything happens, the music starts playing. They turn around to see Piddi dancing (On “It’s The Time To Disco”) The students laughing at Piddi’s funny dance and the gang feels helpless as they see Piddi making a mockery out of himself.

Some students make fun of Piddi. Vats and Banga are at the top of the stairs. Banga is enjoying this scene and Vats says another one of his double-meaning sentences (can’t say it here but it was damn funny! ) Banga says are you here to enjoy the dance? Vats says no, we are here to stop this. But Banga says we are to do nothing as we didn’t start it. We are here to just watch from the sidelines. The one to stop will be the one who had high hopes from JJ and detention class. Princi arrives there and asks Banga what is going on? Banga says that JJ is a new age man and he thinks that JJ is doing some creative therapy and as Princi called JJ here, Banga can’t do anything.

Princi goes down and stops Piddi. But he doesn’t. He asks JJ about this and JJ says that Piddi was dancing in class. He didn’t stop when I asked him to so I brought him here, to give him a bigger platform to dance. Piddi continues to dance. JJ says these students can only understand these kind of tactics. Princi disperses the crowd and shouts, “PRATHAM PUNJ!” which makes Piddi stop dancing. He announces the detention to be over and the students leave.

Princi asks JJ about all this. Before JJ can answer, Banga comes and says that JJ is not to be blamed. These things will happen if a banker would do a job of a teacher. Princi and JJ aren’t pleased by this. Princi leaves saying that all this was wrong and they will have a talk about it. JJ leaves and Banga is very happy. He says to Vats that Princi will realize his mistakes that new people and new methods are useless. Only Banga can take care of these “junglees.”

In the locker room, Bobby asks KD angrily why didn’t he stop Piddi? KD replies why would he have done that? Bobby says because Piddi listens to him and he would’ve stopped if you told him to. KD says he wasn’t dancing for me but he stops midway. Bobby replies curtly that say it that Piddi was dancing for me. Kiya arrives there and overhears their convo. Bobby says KD to warn Piddi that such tactics won’t get him anywhere. KD coolly replies that if it hurts so much, why don’t you tell him?

Precap: Piddi is in some low-class place. He knocks on the door and hands the man JJ’s photo and some money. He is told that the work will be done by tomorrow morning and that he will be informed.
