Uttaran 31st August 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with yesterday’s last scene. Rathore saying someone planted the seed of hatred in Meethi’s heart. Then Icha wondering who could it be?
Icha looks at Nani accusingly and walks towards her.
Nani’s getting scared… everyone’s looking at Nani.
Nani says, why are all of you looking at me this way? How could I write a message like this? I don’t know how to do this? I don’t even have a mobile, how could I do such a thing? She says, I’m telling the truth – I swear on Pushkar.
Rathore says, don’t worry Ichaji, I have asked the details of this number to be traced. If you don’t mind leaving the phone with me for 2 days, I will find the mastermind behind this drama… whoever it is, won’t go unpunished by me!

Veer says to Umed/Gunwanti, Doctor is saying Daddaji is getting better… but why does he keep calling vakeel? Umed says whatever he needs, he will get it done by the lawyer tomorrow morning.
Tej comes down the stairs and asks them why his stuff is not in his room? Veer says because it’s outside the house (Chanda’s listening as well). Tej says why? Can’t I live in my own house? Veer says, we don’t want you to turn this temple-like house made by Daddaji into a bar!
Tej says, are you upset with Yuvraj’s incident? I am telling you, he came to me for alcohol.
Veer says, I will take care of my son and correct his mistakes myself, but I won’t let you spoil him even more.
Tej says to Umed, please tell Lalla, Daddaji’s last days are here… Veer says, if you stay here, those last days will become even fewer and I won’t let that happen. I request you with folded hands, that leave this house… otherwise – and Veer makes a punch out of his hands.
Tej says, okay… and starts leaving. Chanda is getting worried. Chanda thinks, how could he go like that? Now what would happen to me?

Icha gets a phone from Rathore late at night. He asks if she can talk now… Icha says, yes Mr. Rathore why are you calling so late? Didn’t you sleep?
Rathore says, sleep has evaded me for a long time… sometimes it just comes to show me its face… I have a strong friendship with my memories.
You and me are probably tolerating the same grief.
Honestly, I was very upset and angry that my daughter was so close to me and I didn’t know, no one told me… I got very angry thinking that when I found out Yuvi was your son, I didn’t take a second to give him back to you… but why didn’t you do the same to me?
Then later I realised, what happened was for the best… I was alone, how could I have looked after a little girl without her mother… you would have taken good care of her. I remember you loved her a lot.
Icha says, when we all found out that Mukta was your daughter… I gave her to her family… then wherever my life took me, I went.
What have I done for my kids? Nothing, Mr. Rathore.
Mukta, Meethi, Yuvraj – all of them have only hatred in their eyes for me. She cries.
Rathore says, it’s not your fault in this. I met Yuvraj… I was very hurt/disappointed. I had so many dreams for him. What will he bcome when he grows up. I had an image in my mind… but he isn’t like that at all. I felt very bad. I went to meet you at your in-laws’ house. You weren’t there. I met Veer and I realised he wasn’t the same Veer I knew back then. Whatever I saw and heard there, I didn’t feel like staying there at all.
I just want to tell you today, that this darkness won’t stay forever… the light will come, the morning will come.
He apologises for calling so late and says good night. They end the phone call.

Mukta comes back home and sees Nani carrying a tray with lots of bowls in it… Mukta says, is there a party or are some guests coming? Nani says, you’re enjoying all this, but I’m the one who’s in trouble!!
Mukta says, I don’t know what you mean.
Nani says, open the doors to your mind… Meethi has come back. Mukta says, she came back home so quickly? I won’t let her get better so quickly.
Nani tries to stop her… says you should try and listen to my experience and advice, your papa Raghuvendra saved Meethi. You don’t know his strength. I would suggest don’t even go to Meethi’s room right now… quietly come to my room.
Mukta looks up and goes up anyway.
Nani says, this girl will dig a grave and I will have to lie down in it. For today only, serve that servant… then we’ll see what happens (I think she’s taking the tray to Damini and others).

Divya/Jogi/Damini/Icha and Kanha in a room. Jogi says, I don’t know who could go to this limit? Divya says it must be an outsider… how could a family member do it? Jogi says, which outsider would want hatred in Meethi’s heart. Icha says, Mr. Rathore was right… there must be someone who’s happy putting this distance between me and Meethi. Jogi says but who could it be?
Nani calls from the door – Divya beta? Everyone turns to look at her. She says, I thought you’re all in tension, so I thought I would bring coffee and halwa for all of you. She brings the tray to Icha, but she turns her face.
Nani says, poor chuhiya… then says, I mean poor Icha, don’t know when her grief will end. Everyone is suspicious of her sympathy.
Nani tries to give Icha some halwa but Icha refuses.
Damini says, mataji why did you bother? We’re all not hungry. Damini asks Jogi if he wants it, but Jogi says no thanks and so does Divya. Nani starts leaving the room. Jogi says, let me find out who it is, I won’t leave him/her.

Gunwanti brings Daddaji’s medicines to his room… he is lying there very still with this eyes open. Oxygen mask is off him. Gunwanti realises he has died and drops the tray she was carrying. She yells for Veer and Veer goes running to the room. He comes to the room and is shocked to see Daddaji dead. Umed also comes. Gunwanti crying. They all see the mask lying next to his face. Everyone cries. Kasha says daddaji’s feet have gone cold. Umed and Kasha start crying. Umed says what has happened to Daddaji. Veer closes Daddaji’s eyes and cries.

Damini talking to Icha in the room… Jogi comes and tells Icha, I have some bad news. He tells her Daddaji has passed away. Icha says, I found Veer in the mandir that day to pray for Daddaji. It’s is funeral, I will go there.
Damini says, may his soul rest in peace. Icha says, Veer loved Daddaji a LOT.

Rathore is scolding someone on the phone. How long does it take to find the details of a number? He asks to get it done ASAP. He thinks, whoever it is, is working very cleverly. He has changed the records for sure. Who could it be?

Mukta changes the SIM in her mobile again. Mukta says, Meethi you got saved with fate today… but I won’t let you live in peace ever. I will create another problem for you. She sends a message and says I will wait for you Meethi.
Rathore gets that message on Meethi’s phone… you won’t be disappointed this time. I will tell you the entire truth about your father. Come to Chembur’s Old Mill at 5 o’clock.
Rathore says, whoever it is, wants to ruin Ichaji. But I will teach him such a lesson then he won’t be able to play a game ever again.

Precap: Doctor telling Veer Daddaji was getting better, but he passed away… it’s all God’s will. Death looks natural, but it’s strange! Veer thinks, is there someone’s hand in Daddaji’s death? Who could it be? Tej Singh?
