Uttaran 2nd August 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Veer dropping Icha and Nani seeing this.
Nani says what’s this chuhiya doing here and who is with her? She can’t see Veer properly… Veer gives her the umbrella because it’s about to rain!
Nani finally recognizes Veer and is shocked to see them together. Icha says bye to Veer and goes.
Nani’s happy (probably planning and plotting!).

Chanda giving medicines to Daddaji and he says what’s the point of the medicines. How long will I live?
I wish I could see my house, my business all settle down before I die. My son Umed Singh, never really took interest in our business, Veer is trying his best despite his illness (memory loss), and how capable Amla is, everyone knows! (Chanda’s interest is piqued now).
Daddaji says, I had one last hope Yuvi – Yuvraj Singh Bundela… but that boy is not showing good signs.
Chanda says you forgot someone… Daddaji thinks Vansh has passed away…
Chanda says, not Vansh… your blood, your own son!
Daddaji has flashbacks of Tej Singh and his bad habits – alcohol etc.
He gets furious and tells Chanda, how dare you take his name in this house?? He was a mistake and never take his name.
He yells at Chanda and says he’s not our son. He has died for us.
He scolds Chanda, not to take his name in our house.
Chanda asks him if she should put food on the table… Daddaji says, after hearing his name, I don’t feel like eating… throw the food in the bin! HE goes away angry and Chanda gives a cunning smile.

Nani waiting in the darkness on a rocking chair.
Icha comes in and Nani calls her… and sings the song “O Sathi re… tere bina bhi kya jeena”.
Icha comes and she asks her to pick up her slippers and give them to her. Icha gives them and starts leaving… and Nani says who will put them on my feet? Your daughter Makkhi?
Icha says, I wouldn’t tolerate one word about my daughter.
Nani says, keep your voice down… because if my voice echoes, then it will go from this haveli to Bundela house.
Icha gets worried and says what are you talking about?
Nani says, who do you meet sneakily, should I tell your daughter?
She says you were having fun with Veer… why didn’t you bring him home? Why did you get off mid-way?
Nani says, I also heard Veer married a second time.
You didn’t introduce your daughter to her stepmother?
Oh, I know, you wouldn’t tell her yourself… should I?
Should I tell her who’s her father? That Veer Singh Bundela is her father?
She points a finger at Icha and says what did your mother ask me to do? To put my finger down?
She asks Icha to put her head down (on her feet, I assume).
Icha goes in her meek mode again.
Says whatever you have to say, say it to me… not to my daughter. She says I beg you and goes to Nani’s feet and puts the slippers on her feet.
Nani’s happy .
She holds Icha’s chin tightly and says, Chuhiya, you’re the shoe in my feet… you should stay in my feet.
Go and tell that naukrani that she should stay in her place.
Nani leaves Icha crying on the floor.

Yuvi/Mukta come out of the theatre. Mukta says thank you to him. She said I had lots of fun… you’re unique and what you do is also very unique. Who else would get an idea to book the whole theatre.
She gives him her bag and phone and goes to teh washroom. Divya’s calling on Mukta’s phone and Yuvraj cancels the call.
He calls his friend on his mobile and asks for his flat for 2 hours. Says I have someone with me… put the keys in the same place you always do and don’t come back until I SMS you. He again remembers the dance and the slap.
He says, Yuvraj Singh Bundela hasn’t forgotten… now I will give you a reply to that slap, and that too in Yuvi-style.

Divya asks Meethi where Mukta is?
Meethi says she was busy in an assignment, she might have gotten late in it.
Meethi says, she may be with a friend and finishing her assignment.
They ask for her friend’s name and Meethi makes up a name ‘Praapti’ and Nani says I never heard such a name from Mukta for any of her friends?

Yuvraj stops the car somewhere and pretends it’s broken down… he calls up someone on the phone (I’m sure he’s pretending) and scolds the guy and says did I give you the car to fix or to make it worse? He says I’m SMSing you the address, you come and fix the car right now! He asks Mukta if we should go out of the car and roam around a bit… we have to kill time, right?

Jogi is getting upset… he says she has switched off her phone… what assignment is she doing so late at night? They’re all worried.
Meethi is home and Mukta is nowhere to be seen. Nani thinks, the same story again… Meethi is good and our Mukta is bad!
Jogi asks if Meethi has the number of any of Mukta’s friends and Meethi says, no she’s a senior and I’m a junior, so I don’t.
Meethi says, her assignment must not be finished, otherwise she would have been back now… her phone battery must have died too. Jogi says, she knows the house phone number, she could have called from anywhere.

Yuvi/Mukta outside the car… there actually IS a mechanic there… and Yuvi is scolding him… and asking him to fix the car in 15 minutes. Yuvi says, I got an idea. My friend’s flat is close by, we can go there… when the car is fixed, he will call me.
Mukta is worried and says, I have to go home, everyone would be worried… call me a rickshaw please.
Yuvi says, you will leave me alone like this?
Mukta says, it’s not like that… everyone would be worried at home.
And anyways, I wouldn’t go to anyone’s flat like this.
Yuvi says, oh, so that’s the reason! You think I will take you to someone’s flat and take advantage of you. What do you think I will do? Is that how much you trust me?
He plays on her emotions. Says I changed myself completely for you, left my friends for you, did so much… I had so much fun today with you… and you’re suspicious of me…
You think I’m the old Yuvi… you want to go by auto-rickshaw, I will call you one.
He starts calling an Auto and Mukta stops him… he pretends as if he doesn’t want her to stay anymore and calls Auto again… she insists that I will stay with you… please smile.
She says, let me call home and tell them.
He gets worried and says what’s the need to call home. It’s 15-20 minutes only, if they find out, they’ll come and pick you up… why bother them?
He goes to the mechanic and says call me in the next 10-15 minutes… then quietly gives him a bundle of money and says the car shouldn’t be fixed in less than 2 hours! The mechanic says don’t worry, your work will be done.
He looks at Mukta and thinks, remember this moment… you will never forget it after today.

Precap: Kanha is telling Yuvi, I’m her brother… and it’s better for you to leave her hand now. Yuvi’s smirking. Mukta says, who made you my brother? I don’t have a brother… and don’t act like you’re trying to look after me… I don’t need your help!
