Uttaran 20th August 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Mukta telling Jogi she already told Icha aunty that Meethi had gone to meet a friend. She said I can’t follow her everywhere, she’s not a child. Jogi yells “Mukta!!”
Nani’s seeing this from outside and says today Mukta’s gone and so am I.
She turns around to see Icha/Damini.
She says, chuhiya why are you in my way… get out of my way.
Icha says, I didn’t come to just stop your way, I came here to block all your exits.
Icha asks Nani where’s Meethi. No lies this time… tell me only the truth. Tell me where my daughter is.
Icha says, you and me both know very clearly that you hate me, my Ammo and my daughter.
You’re the one who instigated her to come and ask me questions in Satara and today also you put poison in her heart and made her do something rash!
Nani says how do I know where she is?
Icha says, no lies today or I will strangle you with my hands. Tell me the truth.
Nani asks Damini to talk some sense into your daughter, she’s going crazy. I don’t know where Meethi is.
Damini says, today tell the truth mataji… because I won’t stop my daughter today…
Icha says, you won’t tell the truth right?
Fine, don’t do it… I will go to Mukta and tell her the entire truth… what you did to Mukta.
Nani has flashback of throwing baby Mukta thinking she was a street child…
Icha said should I go and tell her how your loving grand-daughter Tapasya left her to die on a stormy night in front of the orphanage? If I tell her the whole truth, as much as Meethi hates me today, Mukta would hate Tapasya even more than that.
I will also tell her that the one who gave her mother’s love was neither you nor your darling Tapasya, but it was me… should I go and tell her?
Nani’s shocked and scared.
Icha says, it’ll be good for you if you tell me the truth…

Mukta says, barey papa, I told you all I knew…
Jogi says I don’t see the truth in what you told me… I want to know the truth. If you lie today… then…
Divya interrupts and say, what would you do then?? You’ll kick Mukta out like Tapasya?
Jogi says, Divya you know why I’m asking these questions?
Divya says, I understand that, but for everything that goes wrong with Meethi why do you blame Mukta and bring her to your court??
Years ago, the same thing used to happen. For each of Icha’s problems, Tapasya was put to blame.
Jogi tries to stop her, but Divya says I won’t say quiet. I saw that happening then, and stayed quiet, but not now. I won’t let that happen again in this house.
Before these people came, (looking at Kanha) you didn’t see anything wrong with Mukta… since they came, all you see is the bad things in Mukta.
Always, your scale is heavier on their side.
Why? I understand, that they saved the roof on our heads… and I won’t forget this ‘ehsaan’ of theirs throughout my life… but this doesn’t mean that anyone can blame Mukta for anything… and I won’t let anyone ask any questions from Mukta for anything.
She takes Mukta’s hands and leaves. Jogi/Kanha left there feeling weird.

Nani asks Damini to intervene again.
She says to Icha, look beta… I…
But Icha stops her and says don’t call me ‘beta’ and insult my Ammo. I am not yours, I’m Damini’s daughter.
Tell me the truth.
Because of you, I lost my best friend… because of you, Mukta went far away from me. You snatched Yuvraj away from me too.
I didn’t let you be punished for that, it was my mistake… but today I won’t let that mistake be repeated.
She holds Nani’s shoulders and shakes her badly and wants her to tell the truth. Nani says I don’t know but Icha says you have a habit of lying… tell the truth where have you forced her to go this time? Nani says, I swear on my son Pushkar that I don’t know where she is?
Icha says, your swears are lies too. Nani says, I am swearing on my son… at least now trust me.
Damini calms Icha down.
Nani tries to leave.
Icha says, just a minute Nani… just listen to this.
If something happens to my daughter, then even your Ram won’t be able to save you from me.
Nani’s scared and goes away from there.
Icha’s worried and says I don’t know where my daughter would be? Damini consoles her.

Bundela house, Daddaji pointing to the trunk again. Kasha gets up and goes there. Amla’s watching all that. Kasha thinks he wants the idol and he brings it, but Daddaji refuses. He looks at Amla and points to the trunk again.
Amla understands what he’s saying and says you want the trunk right? I know I’m the only one who understands you best in this house. She’s about to open the lid, when Tej comes and stops her and says have you gone crazy?
He tells Daddaji, this is the age for you to pray… why would you be interested in this old trunk?
You have medicines, you have prayers of a person like me and the entire family is ready to give your dead body their shoulders, then why are you interested in this trunk (moh-maaya).
Tej says, be free and points at the sky.
Amla and Kasha scared.
Tej looks at Amla and says, you’re the new bahu-rani?
Hey girl, touch my feet… I’m your uncle-in-law. Amla touches his feet and he blesses her. He gives her some money and asks her to go buy something for her.
Amla says I can’t buy anything with this (couldn’t see how much money it was). He brings out more money from the pocket and Amla snatches all the money and says I can buy everything with this and leaves.
Tej asks Kasha if I will have to order you to leave too?Kasha says, I won’t leave Daddaji. Tej says, you’re a servant and Daddaji loved you like a son… I’m his son and I love him as much as Ram loved Dashrath.
He says to Daddaji, you want the trunk opened? Is there a treasure in there? And Daddaji’s getting shocked.

Damini brings Icha inside, Jogi asks her what happened and Damini tells him she’s been standing outside since morning waiting for Meethi. Icha cries and says I don’t know where my daughter will be? Papa please help me. If Meethi doesn’t want me to live with her in the same house, I won’t live here but bring her back please. She cries and hugs Jogi. Icha says, I’m very scared that she may do something wrong in her anger. Jogi consoles her. Damini takes Icha inside.

Yuvi gambling with some people. His friends standing behind him. He shows his cards and starts getting the chips towards him thinking he’s won, but the other guy shows his cards and he has won.
Yuvi wants another round, the staff says you haven’t got any more coins… Yuvi says then ask your manager to give more coins. Another staff member comes and says, I’m sorry sir, both your credit card limits have maxed out and all banks have refused to honour your transaction… his friends ask him to leave now and come back later. They say you’ve lost all your money here anyway.
Yuvi gets up and starts going. He drinks from a glass and says, why isn’t my luck with me these days?? I’ve lost everything… Mukta, my money, playing cards… everything.

He turns around and bumps into someone and the drink spills on him… he starts abusing him… are you blind, can’t you see? I’m talking to you. The guy doesn’t turn around.
Yuvi goes to him, how dare you spill the drink on me and leave? He turns him around with the shoulder and is about to punch him when Rathore turns around and holds his hand 🙂
Yuvi says, you don’t know who you’re messing with. Rathore says, kids shouldn’t talk to their elders like this!!!
Episode ends.

Precap: Yuvi says, do you even know who I am? Rathore says, some rich father’s spoilt son… to see that I don’t have to wear glasses 🙂
