Uttaran 17th September 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Yuvi asking Icha to tell him the truth if she’s his mother. He says, if you gave birth to me, why did you leave me like that? You didn’t even check back once to see whether I’m alive or dead? Gunwanti is smirking.
Yuvi says, in my childhood, I don’t remember if I got a mother’s love… I don’t remember that childhood… but after that did you even once come to tend to my hurts… Where were you?
Now you’ve come to tell me right/wrong? Do you even know what I was going through all these years?
Icha says, I know… if I don’t know who else will? Because I’m your mother… and I’m going through the same pain.
Yuvi says, for just one time in my life, I wanted to meet you… would you like to know why? I wanted to stand in front of you and say “Maa”… Icha starts to smile when he says “I hate you”. Icha cries.
Yuvi yells, I hate you… go away from here… he throws a fit in the jail cell and Gunwanti smiles thinking of the hate she put in his heart for Icha.

Meethi’s going somewhere at night when four guys playing cards in a dilapidated garage, look at her… Meethi’s listening to music so she cannot hear their rude comments… one of them’s about to touch Meethi to get her attention when a hand stops him. The rude guys ask the person, not to do such silly things and if they lose the girl, it will be very bad… they say if you want a share in that girl… they show this new guy (sorry I don’t know his name in the serial, or in real life)… and he says, I’m her protector not ‘bhakshak’ (I know what it means but cannot find the right word to translate it in English lol).
He hits one of the guys and throws him in a drum full of water, then holds the pole-like thing of the garage they were sitting in, and breaks it down completely. They all run away.
Meethi is walking down the street unaware of what’s happening behind her… he looks at her and says again, I’m a ‘rakshak’ (protector) not a ‘bhakshak’.

Yuvi says, you never came as a protector for me… a mother who could not fulfil a mother’s duties… has come to lecture me today, Dadi. I will hate you for the rest of my life, because you haven’t given me a reason to love you. If I’m rude, misbehaving and spoilt, who is responsible for that? YOU??
Icha says, Yuvi please forgive your mother… I didn’t do all this deliberately, I was helpless… whatever happened that night…
Yuvi interrupts and says I don’t want to hear your stories about being helpless… I will only hate you for the rest of my life and never forgive you.
Gunwanti tells Icha, did you hear what your son said. Icha says, I heard him. Congratulations… for keeping the distance between a mother and son alive… Gunwanti says, now however hard you try, your son won’t forgive you.
Icha says, you’re forgetting Mai… he’s not just my son, he’s your son’s son too. Until he forgives me, he won’t be able to forgive his father as well… until he keeps hating me, he won’t be able to love his father as well.
Forget about me, but just think… trying to show me as a bad person… trying to keep me away from Yuvraj and Veer, who is getting the worst of it all – only Yuvraj.
Gunwanti says, you’ve said enough now… go away from here, there’s no place for you in our lives… go away.
Icha says, I’m going. I didn’t come to get a place in your life anyway… but before I leave, I must say one thing… and remember this forever… until now, the fight was between you and me… but now – a mother will battle with you… a mother. She looks at Yuvraj’s back and leaves.
Gunwanti tells Yuvi to not worry and forget all this.
Yuvraj turns around and he’s crying… he says, how can I forget Dadi? I am in this hell because of this mother… how can I forget?
Gunwanti says, she will be punished for all that she did… why are you worrying, I’ll get you out of here soon. But Yuvi sits on the floor and cries. Gunwanti is upset seeing him cry and leaves.
Yuvraj cries and cries and says “Maa” once.

Icha in the jail corridor and remembering Yuvi’s words. She sits on a bench and cries. She says, why don’t I get my kids’ love being their mother… why??
Her phone rings and it’s Mukta on the other end. She asks where are you Maa? Icha says, I came out for a little while… are you okay?
Mukta says, are YOU okay? You sound a bit worried… Icha refuses but Mukta says, I’m your daughter… I understand your worries.
Mukta asks her to come back home because she wants to talk to her.
Mukta thinks, how could I believe in Nani’s words… I gave so much pain to such good people.
She remembers when Nani scolded her for wearing Meethi’s dress. Then Nani’s words about Meethi’s mother snatching away everything from your mother… then Rathore’s words about Tapasya. About Nani ruining Tapasya and now playing the same game with her… it’s her job to instigate people and sow the seeds of hatred.
Nani comes from behind Mukta and says, since Mukta has come in that chuhiya’s control, she has changed. I have to save Mukta from that chuhiya’s control and her magic!! She puts a hand on Mukta’s shoulder and Mukta turns around.
Nani says, Mukta what are you doing here alone… a storm is coming, come inside.
Mukta thinks, the storm is not outside, but inside me… I’m fighting wity myself inside!
Nani says, I know that chuhiya has done something to you… today you will find her words all sweet and nice… but after years you will notice that she hasn’t fed you honey, but poison all along. But I know really well, that no one can snatch my Mukta away from me. After all, how long can someone keep you in the darkness?
Mukta says, yes Nani… how long can someone be kept in darkness? I can see it all clearly now… what’s the truth… what’s a lie.
Nani says, see, I knew it… you won’t be influenced by that chuhiya like my Tappu. Now leave all that, let’s plan to teach a lesson to that chuhiya.
Mukta says, enough Nani… don’t ever repeat such things again, and don’t even think about doing such a thing to her.
Nani says, what are you saying?
Mukta says, I’m warning you today… remember, she should not get any pain… because she’s like my mother.
Nani says, you’re warning ME? That too, because of that chuhiya? What did you see in her?
Mukta says, the same things that you never saw in her.
Her truth, her goodness… everything.
Your effect of your lies wore out and I saw the light of truth.
The one I thought of as my enemy, protected me… if she was my mother’s enemy, why did she save me?
She remembers Icha attacking Yuvi and then promising to witness against Yuvi.
Mukta says, you taught me lies… and I started on the wrong path… papa was right… you are the one who led my mother astray as well… You’re the ONLY one responsible of ruining her life!
You kept old wounds alive, that’s why you didn’t let me and Meethi become friends. Hid the truth from me… never told me that if I’m alive today is because of Icha Maa… she gave me a new life… and I wanted to kill her daughter?
Papa was right… you don’t care about me… you only care about keeping your hatred alive.
Nani yells, YES, I hate that Icha and that damini… but I never hid my hate from anyone… what I’m from inside, I’m from outside.
You’re not fully grown yet, and you’re picking out my mistakes… what have you seen so far? These eyes have seen so many clever moves of Icha in this house…
Mukta says, she’s not clever Nani… you’re clever.
