Uttaran 13th August 2012 Written Update *detailed added*

Episode starts with Chanda visiting Tej Singh in the jail. Tej Singh says, a sparrow told me today that a Thakurayin will come. Welcome, Thakurayin Chanda Devi. Chanda says, I’m not a Thakurayin… you’re a Thakur.
He says, I’m just an illegitimate child of Thakurs!
Chanda says, but your veins have Daddaji’s blood in them!
I have waited so many years that you’ll come and make me Bundela family’s bahu. Chanda says, I waited 8 years.
Tej Singh gets a flashback of when he was arrested and he gets angry and comes and tells Chanda I miss you.
Just wait a little while, this time I come out with all preparations.
He says, I will bring a good character certificate with me this time.
This time when Bundela haveli calls me, I will be there.
Chanda says, that time has come. Daddaji is counting his last breaths on his bed.
Tej laughs and says, before I come out, if he dies then what?
Then he tells Chanda, you’ve waited a lot too… everyone forgot me, but not you… you’re the only one who kept coming to visit me…
He asks her to go back. He says, it’s time for Tej Singh to be released.

Icha remembering Nani’s poisonous words about her telling Meethi about her father and Meethi asking about her father. She remembers the slap to Meethi and is crying. Song playing in the background (Dil pareeshan hai, raat bhari hai).

Chanda comes back to the Bundela house. Amla stops her and asks her where she was? She says, I’ve been looking for you all over the house… when all the work finished, you’ve come back now.
Don’t you know how delicate Daddaji’s condition is? and you went away for “nain-matakka”. I am noticing a change of ‘climate’ in you for a few days now.
Chanda says, you haven’t seen any change in climate yet. It hasn’t even rained properly yet. There’s a storm coming.
Amla takes it literally and says if it’s gonna rain and storm, should I pack my bags? I get worried, don’t talk to me like that.
Amla says, when the storm comes, you won’t be able to get away from it either.
Chanda says, I know how to control a ‘toofan’ but you won’t understand that because you haven’t been able to control Veer yet.
Amla says, this is not the time to talk about these matters.
Tell me which storm you’re talking about. Answer my question!
Chanda is about to tell her, but thinks that Amla can’t keep a secret. If she blabbers to someone, then all my plans will be ruined. I have waited so long for this day, I won’t let this opportunity go to waste.

Damini consoles her that Jogi and me are there, we will help Meethi. Damini thinks, we will have to keep an eye on the situation.

Nani is consoling Meethi and saying poisonous words against Meethi’s family. Mukta is listening outside the room.
Nani says, they hid such a big truth from her. Every time they send Kanha to make her understand because they don’t have the courage to come themselves. If a mother puts “najaayaz” on her daughter’s forehead, how would the daughter feel? How can she live?

Meethi alerts on these sentences.

Meethi stands up and slowly leaves the room. Mukta hides so she can’t see her.

Daddaji on bed. Everyone’s sad and crying around him. Daddaji’s calling Yuvi. Daddaji keeps saying call him, he’s angry with me. Umed just keep saying he’s on his way.
Chanda puts fuel in the fire and says what unfortunate soul Daddaji is. Grandson is overseas and great-grandson doesn’t have the time to come and see his great-grandfather! Daddaji yells, Chanda!
Doctor asks him to calm down. He says, he’s my blood… he will come. Chanda remembers Tej’s words about coming back home.
Daddaji asks Umed to call Yuvi again. Umed calls.
Daddaji’s condition deteriorates and he insists on seeing Yuvi.
Daddaji has a spasm and goes limp. Everyone thinks he has died.
Doctor says, he shouldn’t have taken the tension, he went into trauma. Daddaji’s lips are moving but no words are coming out. Amla/Umed asks what happen to him?
Doctor says, he lost his voice… we have to do some tests.
Chanda smiles and thinks, Tej Singh it’s time for you to come home.

Precap: Veer next to Daddaji and he’s pointing to a drawer. Veer says Daddaji wants something. They all look at the drawer Daddaji’s pointing at. Chanda feeling tense!
