Umar Wani roped in for an episode of Shapath to be shot in Kashmir; to quit Laut Aao Trisha
Now, we have details on the cast and crew of Shapath shooting in the beautiful locales of Kashmir for a special episode.
A reliable source states, “The unit will be leaving for Kashmir on the 17th of this month. Shoot in Kashmir will begin from 20 August. The story will be about a snow man who is on the rampage, and the task of the cops on duty will be cut out as they have to nab this snow man.”
For this particular story to be shot in Kashmir, the production house has roped in handsome hunk Umar Wani. He will play the role of a Kashmiri cop who would know the place very well and will assist the main cops seen in the show in nabbing the snow man.
Also, graphics will again play a major part in this story, with the villain being the snow man.
When contacted, Umar told us, “Yes, I will be shooting for Shapath in Kashmir, which is my hometown. I am super excited to shoot at my favourite locales like Pahalgam, Srinagar, Gulmarg. Also, in my eight years long acting career, this is the first time I get to shoot in my home town Kashmir.”
Also, Umar who is presently seen in Life OK’s Laut Aao Trisha in the character of Prem will soon be quitting the show.
Confirming this, Umar said, “Yes, my dates are not being utilized well in Laut Aao Trisha. So I have decided to quit the show. I have notified this to them, and they will be ending my track soon. I will now want to take up a lead role.”
This particular story of Shapath shot in the valleys of Kashmir will be a two hours episode likely to air in September.
