Twinkle Patel and Shubhashish Jha in Channel V’s Twist Wala Love
Kabir Sadanand’s Frog Unlimited will now air yet another interesting love tale for Channel V’s Twist Wala Love.
Titled ‘Chor Wala Love’, the story will revolve around a girl who would rob people in order to get the man she loves. One such ‘stealing’ encounter will bring her face to face with a young and handsome lad, a boxer, whose aspiration will be something different from what his father would have pushed him into. And in the process, the girl will realize that the man for whom she has turned a con man is not worth all the efforts. This will eventually give rise to a cute love story between the boxer and the girl. The story will later focus around whether the two individuals will fight hard to get what they want in their lives..
Playing the lead central characters will be Twinkle Patel and Shubhashish Jha. As we know, Twinkle has earlier done few episodics, and has been seen in the role of Ruhi in Tu Mera Hero. She has also been cast as the lead of Gul Khan’s upcoming show on Star Plus.
As for Shubhashish, he is a model turned actor and has walked the ramp for Roberto Cavalli, Abraham and Thakore in India and abroad. He’s a Computer Engineer by qualification, having graduated from Manipal Institute of Technology in 2014. This will be his first work on TV as actor.
Twinkle will play the role of the ‘Chor’ who would rob in order to get her love. Shubhashish will play the role of the boxer who would get robbed of the money he would have invested in achieving his ultimate professional goal.
When contacted, Twinkle confirmed the news stating, “Yes, it was an amazing feel playing this central character. The team was very good to work with, and I hope the audience likes this interesting story.”
Shubhashish who has been a die-hard fan of films like Rocky that have a boxer as the protagonist, seems excited to play a boxer in his first stint on TV. “This role was tailor-made for me, as I have grown up watching such kind of films. I have had some tough sequences to shoot for, and it was a very good learning experience.”
The story will air very soon on Channel V.
