Tussle on the sets of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya; shoot stalled for hours

Zing TV’s Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (Lost Boy Productions) might be painting a rosy picture on screen, but things are far from that off-screen.

When actor Abhishek Malik was shooting for one of the episodics with newcomer Twinkle Tenzing, things went out of hand. The girl, being a fresher, was taking too long to give the perfect take. Abhishek, who kept his cool initially, lost it and started scolding her. The verbal argument soon blew out of proportion and the actors refused to shoot.

With the shoot stalled for more than two hours, producer Vikas Gupta was finally called to sort out the issues.

Shared a source, “Abhishek was being cooperative but the actress was taking numerous takes for each scene. Abhishek couldn’t take it any longer and soon got into a fight. The two called each other names and the situation looked quite tensed. Vikas finally intervened and sorted the issue.”

When we spoke to Abhishek, he said, “I have also been a novice and thus understand the nervousness and fear. The girl was taking just too much time for every scene and I really got frustrated. I had decided to walk off, but thankfully, Vikas intervened and salvaged the situation.”

Phew.
