The Episode starts with Maasi calling out Kanak. Kanak thanks Sooraj. Babasa says Kanak did not need to learn anything, when she was in Sandhya’s womb, Sooraj was ill for some time, Sandhya left her IPS job and managed the sweetshop, Kanak knows cooking everything. Bhabho hears him. Kanak tastes the sweets and smiles. Vansh says yes, like Abhimanyu, she learnt Sooraj’s food taste from mum’s womb. Babasa says when I close eyes and have sweets by her hands, I feel Sooraj is alive, its his handmade sweets. Kanak asks everyone to have halwa and say how is it, don’t say it has mahurat too. Maasi says you did a mistake. Kanak says I remember, Gaumata’s share and shows the bowl. Maasi smiles. Kanak says water will be after one hour of having food. She keeps the water
glasses away. She serves the halwa to everyone.

Maasi says your sweets have magic. Everyone like it. Maasi says your hands have Annapurna taste, you would have got this from your mum, she would be making good food, I don’t know your family, but I m sure your dad had habit to have good food, its said the wife who makes good food, her husband prospers in life. Kanak thinks it was opposite in my house, dad used to make sweets and mum used to work as IPS officer. Uma comes. Kanak gives him the halwa. Shiv says you will praise Kanak today.

Uma eats the halwa and stops. He looks at Kanak and smiles. He starts coughing. Kanak smiles and recalls adding black pepper and salt in Uma’s halwa. He says its good. She asks him to have more, you like it a lot right. He says yes, serve more. Kanak gives more. He says thanks, you did wife’s duty, now its turn of husband’s duty, they share everything, happiness, sorrow or this halwa, you have shared the boiled food, come we will share the halwa. She gets shocked and says no, Maasi said we should not have other’s food. Maasi says having food from husband’s plate makes fate good, you will get good qualities by sharing his food.

Uma asks Kanak to have it. Shiv asks Uma to feed Kanak by his hands. Uma says yes, you said it right, I think she is not taking halwa by getting shy. He feeds halwa to Kanak. He asks how is it, its good right, have more. He asks her to stop and take shagun of first rasoi. Maasi says Uma never forgets any rasam, you got a good husband. Uma gifts her anklets. Kanak asks what’s this. Maasi says when husband gives something by love, you should take it without questioning.

Kanak takes the anklets and sits to wear them. She says its not fixing. Uma says I will help you. He helps her. Tu sur ke jaisi hai……plays…… She asks did you like halwa so much. She gets an idea and takes his clothes from cupboard.

She adds starch and washes all his clothes. She goes back to sleep. She sees time and goes to sleep. She wakes up at midnight and takes the dried clothes back. She irons the clothes and keeps them back in the cupboard. She thinks you wanted to hold me in chains, see what I do.

Uma reads Kanak’s message on the shirt. She asks him to wear starched clothes, it will sound a lot. Kanak thinks how much will he make me wait now. Uma says Maasi don’t take this as disrespect and comes out to them. They all get shocked seeing him. Paulmi says I will wash the clothes. Uma says no, my wife will wash the clothes.
