The concept of finite series is really fantastic and helpful for an actor – Varun Kapoor
Actor Varun Kapoor, who is loved for his chocolate boy image on TV, is now all set to come back with Zee TV’s show Maharakshak Devi.
In conversation with us, he talks about his character, shares his excitement to do action sequences in the show and more…
Talking about his character, Varun says, “I am essaying the role of Mahesh, who is completely opposite in nature to Devi. Devi has a motto and is very serious in life whereas Mahesh is a college going fun-loving guy. Their chemistry will be really liked by the audience.
He further adds, “I never thought that something like this will come on my way. I am happy to be a part of it and as an actor, I feel that I should try different genre. Again I am playing a role which is younger to my age.”
You will be seen doing action scenes, so how excited are you? He answers, “Yes, audience will see me doing action scenes, I am partially trained in Martial Arts so I have got that knack with me.”
Sharing his view on the trend of finite series he says, “The concept of finite series is really fantastic and helpful for an actor. I know my part of work and the end result as well, so as an actor a lot of space is provided to explore many things.”
The show conveys a message of women empowerment. When asked Varun about the show’s message, he said, “I am very glad that this show focuses on women empowerment. The show is a very good example of evil things which are taking place in our society and which has to change.
“In Saraswatichandra, audience bestowed their love upon me, I hope they like me in a new avatar this time,” he ends.
