The beauty of the show is the concept and projection of the Indian Army – Rannvijay Singh
Dashing and much loved actor amongst youth Rannvijay Singh will be seen in a rugged role of an Army officer in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s show Pukaar – Call For The Hero.
Here is Ranvijay sharing his journey of Roadies, about the new trend of mini series and more…
What inspired Rannvijay to play the role of an Army officer? He says, “My father is in the Army. If I would have been in the Army then I would be the sixth generation of my family into that field. I gave my exams for joining Army and before joining I had two months off and that’s when I decided to participate in a daredevil show Roadies to win a bike which was the turning point of my life. The beauty of this show is that it has given me a chance to feel how it would have been if I would have joined the Army.”
Did Ranvijay enjoy doing action scenes? “I have always loved doing action scenes and this is like a kid in a candy store, the moment they tell me ki kal jump karna hai ya fight karna I used to get excited.”
Has he trained himself for this action packed show? Rannvijay says, “Yeah, I took training from Vicky Arora who is an actor as well as an expert in Marshall Arts. I have been practicing since a long time for this show.”
Rannvijay says this is show of that kind which he always wanted to do, “For me it’s a debut because for the first time I will be acting in some show. Earlier I have done a reality show. I always wanted to do a project of my kind so I picked this up. Vipul sir told me that we are making a film which will be shown in 24 episodes and yes I agreed to this.”
Talking about the trend of mini series he says, “This format of series which is more popular in west is amazing and gradually we are also started adapting this format of series. Our show is a part of this new trend and we hope that more series should be launched after Pukaar.”
We wish Rannvijay all the best for the action packed drama!
