The Episode starts with Mantu bringing Amaya to the shop to get induction cooktop. He taunts her for taking electricity by somewhere. Amaya asks how to cook on this. The man shows the manual. Amaya says fine, pack it, tell the rate. The man gives concession and asks for 1500rs. She gives Rs 1700 and says she does not want discount. Mantu asks him to take it. Amaya tells Mantu that she will return kettle later and he insists. He asks her number. She says fine and gives the number. He rings to confirm it. He asks her to save it.

She says he stays in Banaras, so she has to ask something. She saks what to make if any guest comes at home. He says few dishes and sweets. She asks if pandit came as guest. Mantu says then sweet is necessary, but you are not making it right. She says she is getting late and goes. He calls her and asks her to make kheer, its fast and she can make it banarasi style. She says I know and ends call.

She comes home and waits for Rachita. Rama reads paper and cuts govt job postings. Rachita says she is getting late, she has to go now, she can’t wait. Rama says its heavy bags. His dad asks him to go wither, he will see the shop. Rama takes the kirana bags and goes with her. Amaya asks Jaz not to worry. Rama delivers the bags and Rachita says we will cook soon and shuts the door. Rama says does anyone shut door like this on anyone’s face and gets annoyed. He leaves.

Rachita says lets decide what to make. Amaya says mum will make. Rachita says she won’t come and make, we have to food. She sees the recipe book and Rachita looks for easy cooking dishes. Rachita says Rajma has to soaked one day prior. Amaya asks why. Rachita says its like that only. The pandit says its last phase of the puja, and then the puja will be completed.

Rachita asks Amaya to think of something. Jaz says there is no time. Amaya says this is not time to joke, don’t create panic. Jaz says I m not joking, what will we make for them, only mum can make it, and she is sitting in puja. Amaya’s phone rings. Mantu calls her and asks him to save his number, he is Mantu. He asks about kettle and will come to take kettle later. Amaya says people have imp work in life. He says I know you want to make Brahman have food and she ends the call.

Amaya recalls Mantu’s words about sweets and kheer. She says maybe he will know, Banarasi kheer and calls him. Jaz asks whom is she calling. Amaya calls Mantu. He asks why did he call. She asks about kheer, she has some work. The network goes and he stands on the stair. She shouts and says he can hear her. He says he is guide, not helpline for cooking. He says he will tell later. Amaya requests him and he tells the recipe. She asks the duration to make it. He says 15mins. She asks sure, will it get ready. He says don’t you trust, then leave it. Amaya says no, I do, start now. He asks her to note the recipe.

He says I will see tourists and come. The pandit says Sneha has called 51 pandits and done the tehrvi rituals and also arranged the food, and blesses her. She does the final rituals. Mantu tells the recipe. Amaya notes down and Mantu asks the tourist to wait. She asks him to guide her and he says fine, start the work. She asks what to do. He says its weird you don’t know anything. They start cooking and Mantu guides them on phone. The scene gets funny as she does not understand his hindi.

Amaya asks how to know is kheer made. He says to check whether it thickened. She says not yet and I will see and call. He calls her and asks did the kheer get ready. Amaya says I had put timer, I will see again. The kheer gets bad smell and he asks how is it looking. She says its brown and burnt. He says you burnt it….
