Tara From Satara 19th August 2019 Written Episode

A girl is doing her homework but she keeps glancing at the TV. Her father asks her (Tara) why she stopped. Tara says I did not. I am studying. She starts reading out her homework loudly. He chants a shloka about concentration. Whatever you do from your heart gives you happiness. She says the episode of Dancer No. 1 will end if I focus everything on my homework. I will miss out the dance as well!

Another girl (Radhika) enters and keeps her ghungroo in the drawer. Radhika says Tara’s handwriting will never improve. Tara says I write in a rush. Radhika asks her if she will retort to her elder sister. Tara says I am not afraid of you. Radhika threatens her of punishment. This time Tara retorts loudly. Their father tells Tara to concentrate on her studies. Tara tells him that this will be the

last day. He tells her not to talk about it ever again. His wife tells him to be quiet. Aai is sleeping. He tells his wife to tell this to their daughter. She nods. Tara prays to Ganpati Bappa to do something. Electricity goes. Radhika goes to bring lantern. Tara runs outside. Her father calls out to her but in vain.
A guy (Tara’s friend) is on call with Tara. He tells her that he is at Rajwada Chowk. He teases her that there is a big screen on the chowk for some promotion. She gets excited. I was so eager to see this episode. Ganpati Bappa sorted it out for me! She ends the call. Her friend calls her danger.

Tara runs towards the chowk. She picks a mango on her way. The guy complains of money. She replies that Bappa gives everyone everything and resumes running.

Tara’s father leaves to find Tara. Someone says where you will find her. Aai says her name is Tara. She will shine even in dark. He asks her why she speaks so much. You just had medicine. She tells him to bring water instead. Tara’s mother offers to do it.

Tara’s father asks Kashinath (the same mango vendor) about Tara who directs him to a lane. Tara’s father pays him money for mango. He notices the posters on the wall and looks upset.

Everyone is watching the dance on the big screen in Rajwada Chowk. By the time Tara reaches there, the grand finale gets over. She hears an announcement of grand surprise – MK’s performance and stops in her tracks. She sits atop a tractor to see MK’s dance. She hoots as MK comes on stage. Tara’s father also reaches there. MK’s performance comes to an end. Tara thinks she cannot match his footsteps even in dreams. She hides seeing her father there. He calls out her name repeatedly. She runs away without getting caught.

Tara’s father returns home and finds Tara sleeping peacefully in her room. She heaves a sigh of relief as soon as he leaves.

Next morning, Tara’s father is giving dance classes to some girls. One girl says she hasn’t done anything new 5-6 days. Another girl (Neha) remarks that she has been doing this since past 6 months. The first girl (Rashmi) excuses herself on the pretext of going to washroom and escapes from the class permanently.

Rohan complains of something. The ladies convince him to eat it. Chinu calls her husband. He decides to wait for his brother. Tara’s mother asks her husband how come he is home early. He shares that Neha got tired and maybe Rashmi wont return ever. Tara apologizes to her Baba. He does not reply to her. I am going to bank. Let me know if you need something from market. His wife (Sarita) tells him that Tara is saying something. Tara cooks up a story to seek her Baba’s forgiveness. Her Baba isn’t satisfied with her apology. His wife tells him to forgive Tara. She is apologizing. He says I would apologize when she will score good marks. Even if she does not score good marks, I will apologize to her teachers. His mother asks him why he is after Tara. Even you went to Mumbai to dance. He stops her mid sentence. Tara is intrigued. Her Baba says one needs to be calm and at peace to understand the beauty of dance. Being Tara, she should stick to one place but she keeps shifting. She is nowhere close to Radhika. His mother reasons that not all fingers are of same size. He calls Tara a thumb. He tells Sarita that he is going to bank. Chinu asks her husband to remind his brother of the fees. He goes after his brother.

Rashmi’s mother tells Tara’s father that Rashmi wont come to classes anymore. He asks for reason but she says it is her wish. You must cut fees for the days she attended. You should return the rest of the money. Tara’s Chacha complains but Rashmi’s mother says she got bored of doing the same steps every day. She got so many prizes for her Bollywood dance. Tara’s father returns the money to Rashmi’s mother. His brother isn’t happy but Tara’s father says I don’t deserve to train her. He leaves. Chinu scolds her husband for not speaking up in front of his brother again. He replies that his Dada was so hurt. I did not know how to ask him. Chinu suggests him to change with time but your Dada is stuck on the same track. They begin to argue when they notice Sarita standing there overhearing their argument.

Bank rep tells Tara’s father (Sachin) that bank fellow dint see anything when they visited you. Sachin reasons that he needed loan to do all this. His friend says they needed some guarantee that you will be able to pay back the bank. Things would have been different if it was the way how things were in Mumbai. Sachin gets miffed.

Radhika and Tara argue cutely as they wait for Tara’s friend. She makes a face at her sister as she sits on the bike of her friend. Radhika receives a call just then and is all smiles.

Tara and her friend are at a riverside. Tara is cleaning up Ganpati Bappa’s idol. She requests Bappa to bless her today as her result is coming out. She put flowers, sweets and a guinea pig in front of Bappa. She asks her friend to pray as well but he is positive he wont fail. She requests Bappa to fail her friend too if she fails. I don’t want people to point fingers at me alone. They head to school.

Chinu tells her SIL she dint mean that. Sarita says I know it. You will feel this way if situation will be such at home. She gives money to Chinu for Rohan’s fees. Chinu accepts is half heartedly and thanks her.

Tara is worried for her result. Bell rings. Teacher walks in and announces the result. It is 100%. Tara folds hands in reverence. Teacher asks her who she is thinking of. She says I was praying to Ganpati Bappa. He shares that all the Gods failed to make her succeed yet again. She points out that he just said the result was 100%. He says I was talking about ordinary people. You are extraordinary. You are out of that 100%. Some people aren’t destined to pass. He gives result to everyone. He hands her her report card. Ask your father to sign it. Tara stands there with a stand face.

A guy is distributing pamphlets of Dancer No. 1 auditions to the crowd. Sachin tells him to shift his truck. I have to take out my scooter. The boy argues with him but Sachin tells him to move. The guy calls him loser. Sachin overhears it and gets miffed. Another guy intervenes. He tries to calm them but Sachin calls their work useless and cheap. The second guy says it is the number 1 dance reality show. Sachin calls it rubbish but the guy says I cannot explain such things to people like you. Sachin asks him if he knows who he is. He asks him what he has done in life. Tell us who you are! Sachin tells them his full name but they don’t take him seriously. Sachin is shaken up. The guy apologizes to Sachin but Sachin apologizes to him instead. The second guy tells his friend not to mess up with people. They shift the truck. Sachin also leaves on his scooter. He is very much lost though.

Tara says I fail as I have no interest in any of the subjects. I try a lot but I still cannot score. Her friend advises her to do what her heart tells her to. She says I don’t know what I want. He suggests her to dance. She makes a helpless face.

Sachin comes to his old dance class. The board tilts as he opens the gate.

Tara’s friend tells her that she only knows how to dance. She tells him not to speak nonsense. He encourages her. You are born to be in the sky. She says I am stuck in between. They both speak firmly on their grounds.

Sachin opens an almirah in which lots of trophies and a file is kept. He recalls all the accolades that he had won and how he got stuck in a situation because of which people looked down upon him. He closes the almirah.

Tara and her friend are sitting atop a fort. His phone rings. Tara starts dancing on her own. He ends the call. He plays a song on his own next and she does stop herself this time. She dances her heart out.

Sachin steps out of the dance class. He fixes the board back in place and finds the poster of Dancer No. 1 there. This sham got into my house once. It ruined everything but now I wont let it come near my life ever again! He tears the poster into pieces.

Precap: Something falls in the courtyard of Tara’s house. Chinu remarks that this means they now have another expense lined up. Sachin says Kathak Shiromani, the biggest trophy, cannot run a house. The same guy (who had earlier apologized to Sachin) tells his crew to announce a cash prize for anyone who can bring a talent to their hub. We will find the dancers this way! Tara thinks to do something so Baba wont sell the trophy. She asks Bappa to give her the idea. I will do the rest.
