The Episode begins with Iyer’s talking to the society members. He talks in favour of the dog and says that even dogs are found on streets, so shall we don’t walk on the street because of fear of the dog? Everyone listen to him. He says there are many societies which has dogs, and dog is said to be man’s best friend. He tells that they should keep the dog. If the dog is trained, the society will be safe from thieves. The kids also say some advantages of keeping the dog giving examples.

Jethalal is not happy to hear it. Because of Iyer, everyone want to keep the dog. Even Popatlal is convinced and turns in Iyer’s opinion. The discussion continues. Jethalal is angry. Bhide then announces the dog as the society’s member. Abdul brings the cake to celebrate. Jethalal runs due to fear. The kids cut the cake and everyone enjoy. Jethalal watches this scene from his window and talks to himself that the dog will be a problem to him. Everyone now discuss for naming the dog, and think of a suitable unique name. Everyone ask Daya to suggest a name, and she names the dog Sheru. Everyone are happy and Jethalal is annoyed.

They also discuss where to keep the dog at night, Sheru must be tied. Taarak also suggests. Jethalal is fearing as how will he go to his shop in the morning. Iyer suggests that the dog can be tied to Jethalal stairs. Daya says no. Anjali says the dog can be tied outside their house. Everyone go to their homes to sleep and say goodnight. Jethalal is still watching all this from his window.

The scene shifts to Jethalal’s house:
Jethalal is talking to himself that the society has kept the dog and what will he do now. Babuji enters and Jethalal says him all this. Daya enters and says the dog’s name is Sheru. Jethalal and Daya indulge in an argument. Daya says that Iyer has convinced everyone, she is not responsible. Jethalal says Babuji that he is afraid of Sheru. Babuji asks him to stop talking about the dog and go to sleep, Babuji hits the wall by mistake, Jethalal cares for him and Babuji leaves.

Jethalal is still thinking about the dog. Daya talks while sleeping. She is preparing Pheplas for Sheru in her dream. Jethalal hears that the dog is crying and thinks it is bad sign. He tells Daya that the dog will bite him.

Taarak Message:
If the dog cries, it is said to be bad sign. What if the dog laughs? Why do people become superstitious and take animals into their good signs bad signs superstitions. But Jethalal believes in this and he is fearing of the dog.

Precap:
The kids are playing with Sheru. They throw a ball and Sheru runs after the ball. Sheru pulls Babuji’s dhoti and everyone are shocked to see it. Sheru then leaves the dhoti. Babuji runs outsude the society.
