Speaking of the Grand Unveil of the Super 16 episode, Namit Sharma, Head Programming, Zee TV said, “Dancing isn’t just about the steps. It is also about the attitude. Looking at the sheer aplomb and the unabashed flair of the kid contestants at DID L’il Masters season after season, we have coined the term ‘Bachchagiri’ to define their attitude this season. These kids are immensely talented and they know it. They’re carefree, uninhibited and accept any challenge that comes their way. At such a tender age, they dance with so much passion and self-assurance that it can rattle any adult watching. We conducted the auditions across 15 cities in India and the response has been overwhelming. Over one lakh children participated and we have now arrived at our Super 16 kids who exactly fit the bill of ‘Bachchagiri”. The Super 16’ unveil episode this year will not have a mere explosion of dance. That is a given with DID. What we have this year is a side of Dada audiences has never seen before and the kings of comedy – Sudesh Lehri and Krushna will regale the audience with a double dose of comic entertainment. We look forward to an exciting gala premiere and a smashing season!”
Lifebuoy ‘Dance India Dance L’il Masters Season 3′ will follow a format similar to the original season where these 16 little powerhouses of talent are divided into 4 teams led by the skippers. Episode after episode, the skippers will groom and mentor their respective teams to face the trials of dance ahead of them. The contestants will be judged on their grasp in learning new dance forms, their versatility in lending themselves to diverse styles and the grace and charisma that sets a dancer with a Bachchagiri attitude’ apart from the dancers.
