Stone pelting on the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil
The shooting of Comedy Nights with Kapil came to halt because AMU (Allied Mazdoor Union) members protested and the alleged strike delayed their shoot.
AMU (Allied Mazdoor Union) created lot of hungama yesterday at Film City as some of the light men from Balaji Production team were shooting extra hours and AMU protested against it. But not many people know of what chaos they created on the sets of Colors show, Comedy Night with Kapil.
An eye witness from the sets revealed, “There they were throwing stones and wanted us to stop the shoot. We had locked the sets from inside so that nobody from the union could enter the sets and thus there were no injuries on the sets. Thank god to Mumbai police who came and rescued us.”
Elaborating on what exactly angered the Mazdoor? Our source says, “There was police who were trying to get them out of the premises. They told the union that without prior notice, you cannot call for strike and do all this drama. In a fit of rage the union members started throwing stones due to which the shooting schedule was delayed.”
The source further adds, “We were supposed to shoot with Kapil Dev and Sukhwinder Singh but due to all this tamasha, we could shoot with Kapil only. He had come down all the way from Delhi. Also Sukhwinder called us to say that he’s not keeping well and thus won’t be able to shoot with us for now.”
It would be fun and thrilling to see Kapil v/s Kapil in the coming weekend. Isn’t it!
