Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai…turns two

The love story of Aditya and Pankhuri in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai…Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara set in the beautiful valley of Kulu Manali struck an instant chord with the audience and today (18 June), the show completes a successful run of two years.

Produced by Rajshri Productions and airing on Star Plus, the serial has gone on to achieve tremendous fan following with the leads Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar becoming heartthrobs. The close to real concept and presentation has added much to the overall popularity.

Also talented actors like Mukesh Khanna, Jr Mehmood, Manasi Salve, Nitesh Pandey, Kunika Lal, Sonali Naik and Khushwant Walia have lent tremendous support to PKDH with their brilliant performances.

Disha aka Pankhuri shared glee stating: “The journey has been a tremendously satisfying one. Can’t believe it’s been two years already and each memory is etched deep in mind. Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team of PKDH for the immense hard work that they have put in.”

When we spoke to Manasi (aka Avantika) on the achievement she said, “Frankly speaking, we never really realised that it’s been two years now. I have had the most amazing time working with the team. It has been a brilliant journey all together.”

Khushwant aka Rubel, who marked his TV debut with this soap, added, “Each one of us has worked hard to achieve this feat and I hope we continue rocking the small screen space for a long time. The show has given me beautiful memories and the love of so many people. I remember, during one of my birthdays a fan visited the sets with my picture collages, chocolates and flowers. It is really heartwarming to see people loving us and our show so much.”
