Sparsh makes her grandma feel special!
Sparsh Khanchandani recently celebrated her Grandmaa’s birthday and threw a surprise party for her.
Sparsh Khanchandani who is currently seen as Rashi in Sony TV’s popular show Parvarrish, recently made her grandmother feel very special on her special day. The little girl planned a surprise party for her granny on the occasion of her birthday and Mother’s Day.
Her granny became emotional to see her granddaughter doing so many special things for her. Sparsh got a big banner prepared for her granny saying ‘Janamdin Mubarak Ho Maa,’ because she is considered to be the mother of the family.
We contacted Sparsh to know more about the surprise party planned by her for her grandma. Sparsh said, “It was a very traditional party; a modernized traditional party. My Dadi turned 85 years old this year. When I celebrated my birthday I realized that I have crossed my Dadi’s height and thought of celebrating her birthday. Me and my mom kept this plan secret for 6 months and secretly we invited all our relatives from outside Mumbai. I was shocked to see that I have so many relatives. We had not met each other for years. They knew me as Ichcha but I didn’t know them. I was so excited to meet my cousins, my bhabhi, jijaji and all other relatives.”
So, did anyone from your show attend the party? “Nobody from my show attended the party since it was a personal, family party,” replied Sparsh.
Talking about the gifts she gifted to her Dadi, Sparsh added, “I gifted her a yellow saaree which she liked a lot and she wore it on her birthday. I dressed her up and did her hair styling and make-up. Now, we are planning to give her another big birthday gift. We are sending her to Mount Abu along with my Nani.”
Sparsh also remembers her Dadi’s reaction, “She was very happy to see all this and she said that this is the biggest birthday gift for her. She couldn’t control her tears of happiness. Everybody showered flowers on her and she was happily surprised to see all this. For the first time, she cut a cake and danced on music by a DJ. She was dancing even thought she was wearing a heavy saaree.”
