Sony TV’s Khoobsurat to go off-air on 12 July

The final date is out!!!

Sony Entertainment Television’s ill-fated show, Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat, will air its final episode on 12 July (2013).

We call the show ill-fated, as despite having a good storyline and starcast, this Shashi Sumeet Mittal Production project never managed to click with the masses. And at the TRP front, Khoobsurat always wore a sad face.

As per the plot, the creatives killed Madhav (Rohit Khurana) to better numbers and even infused a five year leap, however, nothing worked for good.

Seeing no light at the end of the tunnel, the channel has now finally decided to shut it on the 12th of this month. Initially it was to go off-air sometime in August.

Moreover, we hear that the 7:30 pm slot at which Khoobsurat airs at the moment will be wrapped by the channel. In the sense, no new show will replace Khoobsurat and the slot will not air any fresh content, as of now.

We contacted Soumya Seth better known as Aaradhya and she said, “We haven’t received any official confirmation on this.”

Sachin Shroff aka Shekhar reiterated, “I haven’t heard anything from the channel or the production team.”

We also texted producer Sumeet Mittal and Senior Executive Vice President & Business Head – Sony, Sneha Rajani but they did not revert.
