Siddharth Arora talks about the sudden closure of Krishan Kanhaiya
Here we are again mourning the abrupt end of yet another show!! Yes, we are talking about the Siddharth Arora starrer Krishan Kanhaiya (Garima Productions) on SAB TV, which will go off air on 26 October. Well, the show has had a run of hardly few months, after its launch in June this year.
We happened to speak to the leading man, Siddharth on this sudden decision taken by the channel.
On the show’s sudden closure Siddharth shared, “Well, every show has an expiry date. After Singhasan Battisi this was my second show with SAB TV, and I enjoyed working with them. I am privileged to work with Ashwini Sir (Dhir) who used to write script and direct our show so brilliantly. It’s a price winning experience working with him.”
What do you think that went wrong? “I don’t know. The show was nice and people enjoyed watching my Krishna character. Certainly this is not an end, but a start.”
Now what next? “I will go on a holiday and spend time with my family.”
Any particular roles that you wish to play on-screen? “Anything that I have never played before. For me quantity doesn’t matter, but quality does. I am lucky that I have so far got an opportunity to play male centric roles on TV. So I am hoping for the best again.”
Any plans to do reality show? “Not now. I want to first grow as an actor.”
All the very best Siddharth!
