Shruti Ulfat bags Star Plus’ Naamkarann

Seasoned actress Shruti Ulfat who was last seen in Jamai Raja and Nagarjun – Ek Yoddha will be seen in a brand new avatar!!

After the entry of the new generation faces in Star Plus’ popular show Naamkarann (Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada), the next to mark her entry into the show will be Shruti.

Shruti has been roped in to play mother to the male protagonist, Neil (Zain Imam).

As per credible sources, “Shruti will be seen in a very different and modern look. Though a Punjabi, she will believe in posing to be a woman who is very up market. Even though she would not know English, she will deliberately want to speak in English, which will create comic relief. Her character will be cute and full of life.”

When contacted, Shruti confirmed the news to us saying, “Yes, I have started shooting for Naamkarann. It is a very interesting role, very different from what I have played recently.”
