Shruti Bhist, who plays the character of Indu in Trilogy Media Pvt. Ltd’s Hitler Didi on Zee TV, answers our celebrity kids slam book questions…
Birthday: 22nd Jan. 2003
Nickname: Shrutu, Sir Phode and my little sister is known as Ghar Phode. My director sir calls me duffer. People call me Hitler in my school.
Hometown: I belong to Garhwal but I was born in Mumbai.
Describe yourself: I am a very naughty girl and my friend and I do lots of masti together. I love to collect Barbies but I get bored to play with them. I study in the 5th standard and like to study.
Hobbies: I love dancing and playing with animals.
Favorite movies: I Hate Love Stories, Barfi, Tom and Jerry and the movies of Mr. Bean. I also love watching horror movies.
Favorite actors: Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan.
Favorite subject: I love science because its an easy subject and I get to study about animals in it too.
Favorite cartoon characters: I like Barbies.
Naughtiest person on the sets: Myself, Munna uncle (Sandeep Baswana) and my on-screen Nanu. Munna uncle always makes us laugh in each and every scene.
Your deepest fear: I am scared of my little sister as she complains to my mom whenever we have a fight. I am also scared of my grandpa because he sometimes thrashes me.
Favorite dish: I love all the food made at home. I don’t like eating outside food except Chicken Lollypop and Manchurian. I don’t like Pizza and Burgers. Yes, I do buy Burgers but I take the toy and give the burger to my little sister who loves it.
Song you are humming these days: Justin Bieber’s – I was born to be somebody.
Favorite TV show: Man vs Wild, Jeanie aur Juju, Chidiya Ghar and sometimes I watch Hitler Didi. I also love watching India’s Best Dramebaaz, Barbie and Disney Princess cartoons.
Describe your daily routine in short: I never wake up early during my school days but I wake up early on Sundays. On weekdays, I wake up at 6 o’clock in the morning and go to school. I come back by 12:30, freshen up and go to play. I come back at 2 and eat lunch. We sleep for 2 hours then we go to the garden, come back, study and again go to play. We come back have our dinner and then we go to sleep around 10 o’clock.
What is your favorite pass time during your free time on the sets: I love playing with my friends or animals and sometimes I study too. I keep on breaking the things on the sets while playing but no one scolds me for that because everyone loves me. I remember one incident when a lamp fell on my shoulder because I hit it accidentally. I got so scared thinking about ‘ab toh main gayi.’ To my surprise, everyone came inside asking ‘tumhe kahin laga toh nahin’ (laughs)?
Favorite hangout places in Mumbai: Water Park, Essel World, Gardens and shopping malls.
You are incomplete without: A Brother. I don’t have any real brother. I am also incomplete without my best friend Avni. We always think about why we aren’t real sisters.
Craziest fan encounter: Yes Yes! I almost had a heart attack one day. I went to the jogger’s park and was skating with one of my friends. Few aunties walking there recognized me, caught me and were not letting me go from there. They called their daughters and kept on chit chatting with me. Sometimes if somebody recognizes me then I say that she is my sister and we are twins but they don’t believe me and say ‘arrey yeh toh Hitler Didi ki Indu hai.’
One day we were shooting at a Mosque and I got tired of signing autograph books for the kids. A little girl came and she had chubby cheeks. Her hands were too little and there were already lots of things written in her hands so, I took out a paper, signed it and gave it to her.
A day when you cried a lot: Whenever I haven’t got the things I have wanted.
Message to your fans: ‘Mere peeche mat bhaagna’ and I love you so much.
