Shashank Sharma shares his excitement on essaying a negative role in Ek Ghar Banaunga
In order to spice up the plot and grab more eyeballs, the makers brought some changes to the on-going storyline of Star Plus show Ek Ghar Banaunga (Village Boy Productions) and Shashank who has entered the show as Kamal, talks to us and expresses how he plans to leave no stone unturned to justify the character he essays.
Shashank, plays the brother to Dolly, appears to be a good boy touring the city of Sitapur. But little do the viewers and the family members know of his real intentions. The upcoming episodes of the show will see that while the protagonist, Poonam (Ishita Dutta), will be trying to figure out who is spying on her, it will later be revealed that it is no-one else but the ‘good-boy’ Kamal who would want to get physically dirty with her.
Having essayed negative roles in Hamari Beti Raj Karegi on Sahara One and Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq, Shashank has not really tasted the seeds of an out an out negative character which has been one of the shades the actor is keen on exploring.
Says Shashank, “I am excited to play this role as it is an out an out negative character which will help me add a lot of variation to my portrayal. I play a character that is a womanizer who is very shallow in his thinking. Frankly, I do not follow any serials but when I heard about this being a two month track I jumped at the opportunity. I have earlier done some negative roles but this is so far the best and I will do my best to explore the actor within me.”
We wish him all the best!!!
