Sharib Hashmi and Inaamulhaq promote their movie Filmistaan on SAB TV’s Chidiya Ghar

As a part of promoting upcoming movie Filmistaan, which is scheduled to release on 6 June (2014), the protagonists Sharib Hashmi and Inaamulhaq shot with the cast and crew of SAB TV’s Chidiya Ghar (Garima Productions) not for a sequence or two but for an entire track over a period of five days.

On the shooting experience, Debina Bonnerjee aka Mayuri shared with us: “We had lotsa fun shooting with Inaamulhaq and Sharib and they are very impressive personalities. I know Imam from the time I did Zor Ka Jhatka and I was surprised to see him as an actor. He has transformed very well, in build and looks. Sharib is also a very good actor.”

While the track in Chidiya Ghar showcases how a group of tenants have passed on the acting bug to the members of the house, there awaits an interesting twist where the protagonists of the film, Inaamulhaq and Sharib Hashmi will introduce themselves on the show. Staying true to the concept of the film, they will communicate the message of the film as they will preach the members of Chidiya Ghar of how it is easy to aspire being an actor but very difficult to accomplish the dream as there is a lot of passion, motivation and hard work which go into it.

Sumit Arora aka Gaumukh stated, “I felt like I have been shooting with them every since the show started. Both Inaamulhaq and Sharib are grounded people. We even discussed how we have to improvise the scenes during breaks.”

When we contacted Paresh Ganatra who essays Ghotak on the show averred, “It was a fun experience shooting with Inaamulhaq after long as we had earlier worked together in Comedy Circus. Sharib is a great actor and I am really looking forward to watch the movie. I will try to catch a show on the first day itself, provided I get some time off.”
