Sharad Kelkar reports for shoot of Kuch Toh… in a day’s time in spite of his hand being seriously

In TV industry, where actors take break from work for flimsy reasons, Sharad Kelkar comes across as a whiff of fresh air.

For this lead actor, of Sony Entertainment Television’s late night show Kuch Toh Log Kahenge (Director’s Kut) suffered a serious cut on his right hand that warranted stitches on Christmas Eve. In spite of the serious injury, he reported to work the next day with his hand in plaster.

Tweeted his co star Kritika Kamra,“ Hats off to @skelkar07 who is shooting in spite of pain n heavy dose of meds. He hurt his hand, went thru a surgery n resumed shoot d same day.”

She then later tweeted, “Wish our iron man @skelkar07 a speedy recovery!!.” However, director Rajan Shahi told us this morning that though he is badly hurt indeed, Sharad reported to work the next day.”

Sony Business head Sneha Rajani also tweeted, “Get well soon Sharad.. Salute the professionalism and dedication. Thank you. More power to you!”

When we tried to contact Sharad, we were told that he was busy shooting.
