Scene 1
Devi comes to the throne. She recalls Bhao’s death. She recalls her promises.
Raghu says these are the sins of Bhao. He killed Vinayak. He took Gauri from here. He tried to kill Ahiliya. He tried to take our lands. Let me bring him here. Devi says he shouldn’t be called here. He has impurified our land enough. Devi says according to law how should we punish him? Raghu says according to our law, death sentence. Devi says no. THat would be a small punishment for him. He has to pay for his sins everyone moment. We will make him suffer. Lock him in the detention. Give him no food and water. Let him eat himself. Ahiliya says but this is revenge not justice by law. We cant pain him. Tukur says sethji is right ahilya why are you going against our sethji? He should be pained.

Ahilya says religion says we should just kill him. Devi says you always forgave people. Nagesh has hurt everyone. All those family deserve him to feel pain. We can’t just kill him. This should be an example for anyone who would think to harm Devsu.
I hope your trust me Ahiliya. I you don’t then let me know I will leave this seat. Ahiliya says I am sorry sethji you are right.
Devi saays Nagesh should be hit 100 times a day. Raghu says okay I will. Devi says no someone else would do that. Raghu says I am the protector of Devsu. Devi says we will decide about that too.
Scene 2
Ambi gets a call. He gets to know about his dad. He tells Rita. She says oh God. Is he okay? Please bring him back? Ambi says he will live there now. No one respects us here. We won’t get it out. I am tired. I dont’ want Devsu’s land or anything anymore. His lust has ruined our lives. Why didn’t you stop him? Rita says he would never listen. Ambi says till he isn’t here there won’t be any more troubles. He leaves.

Devi says the next decision is to remove Raghu as the protector. Devi says if you were competent all of this won’t have happened. Ahiliya says no one is better than him. He had been handling on it. Devi says I know someone who is better than him. Its baji. He has worked under Raghu and he can handle it better.
She gives baji the title. He accepts it.

Raghu recalls all that happened in the court.
