Saraswatichandra 5th July 2013 Written Episode

The Episode starts with Sunny asking Saras why he shouted. Sunny asks him what happened, where was he the last night. Sunny tells him that Kumud is waiting for your call. Kumud is thinking about Saras, and says every ritual is incomplete without you. Danny says I spoke to Sunny. Sunny will talk to Saras and Saras will call you soon. Kumud smiles.
Saras tells everything what happened between him and his father to Sunny. Sunny tells why did not you come to me first, I don’t understand how can Ghuman aunty do this, why are you punishing yourself, Kumud is trying to talk to you. Saras says after I read Maa’s letter, I could not understand anything, where am I, and what am I doing, I did not know. I did not even know where I kept my mobile. Sunny says talk to Kumud, Danny told she is very much worried about you. Your marriage is in few days, talk to her. Sunny gives him his phone.

Scene shifts to Kumud:

The girls are seeing Kumud’s bridal dress. Badimaa says when Kumud wears this, it will look more good. Kumud comes and sees her bridal dress. Kumud touches it and likes it a lot. She thinks of Saras’s words that he is waiting for her to come with him. Badimaa asks did you like it, Kumud says yes. Guniyal asks her to try it now. Saras is thinking what to say to Kumud and thinks of her mum’s words and the fight with Laxminandan. Saras thinks how will I tell her all this. Kumud wears her bridal dress and Kumari praises her beauty. Kumud smiles and says lets go and show it to everyone, then I will change my colothes. She misses Saras’s call. Saras dials again and her number becomes unreachable. Vidyachatur and Guniyal see Kumud in the bridal dress and get happy. Badimaa says is this true or a dream. Guniyal says our dream is becoming true. Chandrika says the dress is looking more beautiful because of Kumud. Vidyachatur gets emotional and praises Kumud.

Danny comes and says OMG, I will marry an Indian girl like you. He asks her to smile. She says you know why am I not smiling. He says Saras will call soon. Her phone rings, and she runs to take the call. (In the first scene, she was standing near the phone, and she did not see it ringing. And when the phone rings again, she hears the ring from a very far distance, strange!!) She picks the call. Saras says Kumud. She says where were you since the last two days, I waited for your call. Saras says now you won’t have to wait. Kumud says I wore my bridal dress, I’m seeing myself in the mirror. She smiles and looks at the moon. She closes the window and says I was closing the door as you say the moon stares at you, I’m yours and I cannot let anyone stare at me. She says come soon and marry me. Saras says forget this dream, she asks why, because this won’t be a dream anymore, I have applied your name’s mahendi and haldi, come soon to take me. She is very much excited. She says I know no one loves anyone as you love me.

Scene shifts to Badimaa:

Badimaa and Guniyal are talking about the arrangements. Badimaa asks Kumari to call Kumud. Kumari says she is talking to Saras. Kumari says he did not talk to her since two days, so she was sad, now he called and she ran to take his call. Vidychatur and Guniyal think about their times. They all have a laugh. Vidyachatur is excited about Kumud and Saras’s marriage.

Scene shifts to Kumud:

Saras tries to tell her, but Kumud is keeping on talking and describes her bridal dress. She says she will go with him and tells her post marriage plans. Saras tells her that I don’t have any color to color that white cloth. She says don’t joke. She says my heart will be beating high till you come. He says I won’t come to marry you. She gets shocked and thinks he is joking. She smiles and says maybe you have some work, so are you postponing the marriage. She says don’t let me wait. Saras tells I’m ending your wait. Kumud says Mr. Saraswati Chandra Vyas. Saras shouts don’t call me Vyas, I’m just Saraswati Chandra. I don’t have any relation with my father anymore. Kumud simply listens. He says our marriage cannot happen. (Saras is an idiot!!) Kumud is shattered and could not believe her ears. (Poor Kumud!!) He says you change your bridal dress. She cries.

Kumud says what are you saying. She says my dad brought this bridal dress, tell him. Vidyachatur asks Kusum to call Kumud. Danny says they might be planning their marriage, look she will come and give us some shocking news. Kumari says when she comes down, we will sing a song for her. Danny says we will tell her that my dad postponed the marriage, they all think of joking with Kumud. Badimaa says we will sing a song which she likes. Everyone plans something different for Kumud.

Saras tells Kumud to forget him. He says how can I think that I can make a relation with someone, my mum left me years ago, and I could not connect with my dad, how will I make a new relation when I cannot make a relation with my parents, its my mistake that I fell in love with you, please forgive me. He says I came to know today that I’m nothing without my dad’s name. She says I chose you because I love you and trust you. He says I don’t trust myself. She says trust me. He says I don’t want anyone’s support, leave me alone. Kumud says don’t forget that you will leave me alone too. He says I’m helpless, we cannot unite. Think of it as a dream and don’t wait for me, because I cannot marry you. Kumud cries and says you promised that you will be with me till the last breath and you asked my hand infront of everyone. How can I forget, he says I don’t have any answer of your questions. She says you have to answer, how can you decide alone. Answer me how can I remove my mahendi, how can I undo my face’s haldi. She says you cannot insult my parents like this. He says it cannot change my decision. She cries.

Precap:
Kumud tells Vidyachatur that Saras called me and said this marriage cannot happen. Everyone are shocked.

The focus of the novel is on two Gujarati Brahmin families. The family of Lakshminandan is settled in Bombay, has a roaring business, and is very wealthy. Saraswatichandra, the brilliant scholar-to-be, is born to Lakshminandan and Chandralakshmi. He has a dazzling career to look forward to as he is steeped in Sanskrit and English classics, is a barrister by qualification and has tried his hand successfully at his father’s business. The other family is that of Vidyachatur, the highly knowledgeable prime minister of the court of King Maniraj of (the fictional) kingdom of Ratnanagari. To him and his wife, Gunasundari, the lady of tremendous qualities, are born two daughters, Kumudsundari (the elder) and Kusumsundari. Saraswatichandra’s mother dies, and Lakshminandan remarries. The step-mother, Guman, is a scheming woman and she treats her step-son with suspicion and dislike. Meanwhile, Saraswatichandra and Kumudsundari are engaged to be married, subsequent to which they exchange letters and fall in love without having seen each other; he, charmed with Kumud’s tenderness and similar likes and she, taken in by his vast knowledge and excellent qualities.
Things reach a head in Saraswatichandra’s home when he realizes that even his father suspects him of having an interest only in the family wealth and he decides to renounce his home. His best friend, Chandrakant, tries his best to use every argument he can think of to prevent his friend from carrying out this terrible vow. But Saraswatichandra is not amenable to argument, and he leaves, thus not only renouncing home and wealth, but also leaving young Kumud in the lurch. He proceeds by sea to (the fictional) Suvarnapur. By the time he reaches there, Kumud has already been married off to Pramad-dhan, the wayward son of Buddhidhan, the man who is slated to become prime minister of Suvarnapur.
And thus, we come to the third family. Buddhidhan is a Bania (vaaNiyaa) and has a sharp intelligence and political sense, by which he manages to overturn the reign of Suvarnapur’s ruler, Jadsinh, and his administrators, Dushtrai and Shathrai. His own Rajput friend, Bhoopsinh, becomes king and Buddhidhan, his prime minister. Saraswatichandra stays at Buddhidhan’s place calling himself Navinchandra, and watches all this political activity with interest. Inevitably, he comes into contact a few times with Kumud, the daughter-in-law of the house. Love for each other ignites again, and a lowly companion of the daughter of the house takes advantage of this and incites Pramad-dhan against his wife.
On the day Buddhidhan gets the prime minister’s post, Saraswatichandra leaves his house due to the tensions that contact with Kumud is causing them both and leaves without a destination in mind. He steps into a cart going towards Manoharpuri in Ratnanagari. Meanwhile, Kumud is also on her way in a palanquin and accompanied by guards, to see her mother in Manoharpuri. Saraswatichandra’s is attacked by bandits and they leave him injured in a forest. An attack on Kumud is also planned by the bandits, and knowing this, Kumud’s grandfather, Maanchatur, leads a team to counter the bandits. They manage to foil the bandits’ plans, capture their leader, but then, Kumud, fearing shame and infamy, tries to commit suicide by jumping into the Subhadra river. Despairing for her life, Maanchatur returns and everybody assumes her dead.
Saraswatichandra, meanwhile, is rescued by a group of ascetics and taken to their ashram on the nearby mountains of Sundargiri. Here, Saraswatichandra impresses the head monk, Vishnudas, by his breadth of knowledge and eventually makes him name him as his successor to the post of head monk. Kumud also survives and her unconscious body is caught by a lady ascetic, Chandraavali, and her companions. This group takes Kumud to Vishnudas’ ashram and both she and Saraswatichandra come to know of each other’s presence there.
The ashram ascetics realize the facts of the past life of these two, and try their best to reunite them. In this attempt, they take them both to an isolated cave on the peak of Chiranjeevshrung. Here, spending four days and nights together, they undergo a mystical experience which convinces them to reunite. The major impediment is how the society will view this reunion. This is a complex problem, and they think of three different alternatives.
All this time, Lakshminandan has almost lost his mind in his son’s absence, and Chandrakant vows to find his friend and is lodged at Vidyachatur’s place for a long time. Ratnanagari’s police and detectives find out where Saraswatichandra and Kumud are, and eventually, his entire family, as well as Lakshminandan and Guman, decide to visit Sundargiri, talk to Vishnudas about getting the two ‘back into the world’, and convince the two about the same. However, there is no consensus on the marriage of Kumud to Saraswatichandra. Ultimately, the only alternative possible without anyone getting outcast by society is this: Saraswatichandra must marry Kusum.
This is the plot of the novel described in the briefest possible manner, without conveying even an iota of the emotions, the tension, the idealism of some characters and the pragmatism of others, the sheer vicissitudes of life in these three families after Saraswatichandra renounced home.

In which way sc is going i don’t think trp of the serial will increase and now its going on below average. The production house of sc also thinking that if trp will continue like this then the serial will be off air very soon . And they know that here in small screen industry trp matters everything. And perk of the serial now depends upon slb. And he should think about it otherwise a day will come when people will feel happy to say good bye sc.

Vahbbiz Dorabjee to enter Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra

Gear up for some freshness in Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra (SLB Productions). As per the plot, Saras (Gautam Rode) and Kumud (Jennifer Winget) are set to go separate ways. However, expect some spunk in the storyline as a new girl is all set to enter Saras’ life. Any guesses? Well, the role of the new girl will be played by none other than vivacious beauty Vahbbiz Dorabjee. The lovely actress was last seen in a cameo in Life OK’s Savitri. In Saraswatichandra, she will be seen as a politician’s daughter who will be a family friend of Saras. The actress began shooting for the same today (6 July) and her entry will air on Monday (8 July 2013).

SJ, a friend of mine posted this interesting news:

Saraswatsi Chandra is a novel bases 1969 live saga produce by a very famous producer Sanjay leela bansali. When saraswati Chandra contract was signed up by Jennifer Winget and Gautum Rhode, we’re required romantic and close scenes, it was o/k at that time with both the lead acter, now KSG is making such a big fuss over Jennifer doing close and romantic scene with gautum Rhodes, KSG said in one interview that when “jenny doing close scene I watch very closely how many finger and at what insanity My wife has been touched by her co star. That is making uncomfortable Gautam to do the acting.

And not justice to the character, so cv and ph are changing story because Jennifer refused to do romantic and close scene with gautum. Cause of that show might shut down, because Sanjay leela bansali does not want to replace the team so lack of actor’s operation show might e shut down.

Sources says, jennifer does not talk or get close to anyone, as soon as she finish her scene she oes into her room an do no not socialize with any of he o star with gautum or even Cheyenne pandit either when asked gautum said it is ok with him.

Gautum said “he want to do justice with work it is work and I am a true professional.my question is u, is it fair to audience and to the producer who put his prestige money and reputation on line? How about to the audience who are emotionally involved, what about their emotion and are being attached?”

Jennifer s refusing do do any clse and romantic act because KSG is having problem, yeah if your spouse have that problem why then are they in this business, they should not be in this profession at all. I Guess they do not that because of credibility . Jenny Wants to quite the SC because she is being audition by Farrah khan for the movie “HAPPY NEW YEAR”

KSG dOes so much close scenes with Surbhee in JYOTI , why is it ok if he can do these scenes but when his wife does it he has a problem?

  Yeah, I read this before as well. Whatever happens between KSG and Jennifer shuld be their own business. All I know is that it is Jennifer who is at fault. If she signed up for it, then she should do it or else leave the show. Sanjay Leela Bhansali should hire Sanaya, she will do a much better job then Jennifer!!

Lets not forget laximnandan insulted his own son telling him if it wasn’t for him (LN) .. Vidyachatur would never agree for Saras to marry kumud but I think LN thinks too highly of himself. The desai family loves Saras not because of LN but because of saraswati. Saras made a poor decision because of all the emotions and hurt his father has put him through. He will realize his mistake a bit too late and will try to rectify it.

New Spoilerr Saraswatichandra – Kumud To Marry Pramad ;( Now In It’s Coming Episodes, Saras will not pay any heed to Kumud’s pleading and will refuse to marry her. Heartbroken Kumud, will disclose this to her family and everyone will be shocked. Futhurmost, Sunny will make Saras realise that refusing the marriage for the second time was not the right thing to do. Meanwhile, at Ratnanagri, Vidyachatur will decide that Kumud will be married the same day as was fixed earlier and Kumud will support her father’s decision.Saras, after realising his mistake,will decide to go to Ratnanagri to marry Kumud. Vidyachatur will announce Kumud’s marriage to Pramad (Buddhidhan Dharmadhikari’s only Son). Buddhidhan Dharmadhikari is a respectable politician of the area and had wanted to get his son married to Kumud earlier. Saras in his attempt to reach Ratnanagri will meet all sorts of hurdles.Saras will reache Ratnanagri and will comes to know of Kumud’s marriage. He almost reaches the haveli but will get attacked. Kumud ,sensing his presence, will get restless. Before getting unconscious, Saras will see Kumud’s maang filled with sindoor.
