Sapno Ke Bhanwar Mein 18th June 2012 Written Update

Dev brings Pooja home with a doctor and Kaka in tow and the Tiwaris and Billu are shocked and joyful. The doctor wants to examine Pooja but the Tiwaris want some time with her so Dev convinces the doctor to let them sit with her for some time. Pooja remains blank as her family gathers around her and tells her how happy they are to see her again. This convinces Sumitra that Pooja will soon be well.

Dev goes to his room to apologize to his brother for not being the superhero he ought to have been and Arti comes there to apologize too. Since she even apologizes in a completely annoying fashion, unable to see that the man is having a private moment, he leaves her to it and goes away.

Arti can’t understand why he wouldn’t want to share all his secrets with her and so she asks Kaka why he’s such a mystery. Kaka can’t wait to share all of Dev’s secrets with her so he tells her all about the younger brother who died, the expensive treatments that turned Dev into a corrupt officer and how Dev can’t handle the monster he’s become, etc. Arti is of course, instantly touched and shocked.

BBP is studying the pics and Govind Shankar is telling him how these pics could create a storm in the media if they’d been released because they paint BBP as guilty clear as day. He nudges BBP when Dev arrives and excuses himself. Dev comes drunk and insolent as usual.

BBP asks him why he’s spying on him and sending the results to Rangoli. Dev says he had no other choice because BBP refused to take his advice and return Pooja. BBP asks if his decision has something to do with Arti and if Arti is “paying” him somehow.

Dev tugs him around and does what we’ve all wanted to do for a long time – punches him in the mouth. BBP’s guards come rushing to defend their boss but BBP stops them and wipes the blood from his mouth on a handkerchief. He drops the hanky and punches Dev right back. Dev sees the fallen hanky and pretends to fall at BBP’s feet to beg pardon for his momentary flash of anger and pockets the hanky. BBP sends him with his guards for a good tune up.

Arti is shocked to see Dev all bloodied and comes with meds to patch him up but he’s had enough of her and says he doesn’t need any meds that come with a side order of questions Arti says she won’t ask him any and then promptly begins to irritate him in other ways, telling him how she heard about his brother and how sorry she is and how he can confide in her and blah blah blah.

Dev has had enough of this and shoves her hand aside and says he never asked her for any of this concern and it’s none of her business. Arti insists that he share his pain with her and when he asks why she’s so bothered, she says she has no answer for that but he knows as well as she that the two of them are deeply caught up in each other’s lives and problems.

Dev looks less than thrilled by this but is saved by the arrival of his junior. He hands the hanky over to him and says to get it tested against the foetus sample so they can prove BBP is the father and Krish is innocent. Arti is delighted with him.

GS Jasoos is at the police station doing some work when he sees a light in Dev’s room and decides to investigate. He overhears Dev’s junior talking on the phone to some lab person about a blood sample and rushing the results. The junior sees GS spying on him and mocks him and tells him to go home and get some sleep before his life gets complicated in a short while. GS relays this info to BBP obviously.

The Tiwaris and Billu are gathered at the dinner table and they’re happy to eat in a long time. Sumitra says they have Dev to thank for this and asks Arti to go get him. A short while later Dev comes down to find Sumitra sitting alone at the table and the food covered, untouched. He asks her what’s the matter and she says they were all waiting for Dev. Dev is touched and calls everybody to the table.

They’re about to start when Arti comes bearing the radio, their prime source of news now that they’ve decided not to renew their cable subscription I guess. She tells there’s been a fire at his office and he says he’ll go check. Just then the big-mouthed junior bursts in the door and says all their proof in the Pooja case has been destroyed. The Tiwaris are dismayed and Dev is furious. He says he knows who did it. His phone rings and everyone is shocked to hear him talk to BBP. BBP taunts him and Dev is left looking angry.

He goes to meet BBP the next morning and our nikamma CM is back to his old ways, sitting at home drinking chai and watching TV. BBP asks Dev why he suddenly decided to work against him. He asks him if he wants more money. Rangoli is passing by and pauses to overhear. Dev says even a prostitute has money but that doesn’t mean anything. All the money in the world couldn’t save his brother. And no matter how much money or power BBP had he couldn’t save the woman he loved. BBP’s face changes and he looks at Dev, shocked. Rangoli looks furious.

Precap: Shukla brings in DARGAH BABA. Dargah Baba looks around in wonder and then sits down and calls for BBP. He comes running and collapses at DB’s feet. DB beats him affectionately with his chimta and says he told BBP not to be a crook. He told BBP to walk the difficult path. Did he? BBP cries and asks him why he abandoned him. He says he’s engulfed in a storm. DB smiles, runs his hand through BBP’s hair and tells him everything will be all right.
