It’s going to be a heart-wrenching climax for Star Plus’ popular and long-running show, Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions) as it bids adieu to the audiences on 11 September.

The hard-working Sandhya (Deepika Singh) will have to toil and fight the terrorists to save her family and her ‘Hanuman Gali’…

Yes, the pre-climax will see Sandhya sweating it out at the Ghaat Aarti Utsav, wherein a bomb will be placed in the idol of the God.

Will Sandhya be able to bust the bomb blast plan?

Of course, the daring Sandhya will succeed in this mission.. However, she will later be put on a bigger challenge as the terrorists will capture the inmates of Hanuman Gali and keep them hostage.

Will Sandhya be able to save Hanuman Gali from the clutches of the terrorists?

We tried calling Deepika but could not get through to her.

If sources are to be believed, both Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya will succumb in this big fight, and will lose their lives. We hear that their death will happen in a bomb blast, but we cannot confirm this piece of news as the end track is still being worked out.

And this will pave way for the Season 2 of the cult show to emerge, which will not have the lead faces.

    I am so very sad & upset that DABH is ending ?
    This is by the far the best serial and without Sooraj & Sandhya, how can they continue season 2
    Anyways like always all good things come to an end ?
    Please just don’t kill them off
    Leave the ending in suspense ?
    Optional for a come back in the future ?

    Diya aur Bati is way much better then any other typical Saas-Bahu or mythological drama. It goes through different problems of people and is a big inspiration to viewers. Don’t make Sandhya & Suraj die as it can give a negative impact on people’s mind about bad end of a good police officer. Long live Sandhya & Suraj with a happy life…

    first point that no one gives two hoots to our comments. The show is going the way AFSAR BITIYA went with Sandhya being dogged by ARPITA and hindered by IGNORANT BHABHO. Sandhya has not influenced any women to join up Police duty.
    Secondly iwe accept n James Bond series there are new faces of James Bond and rightly so if Sandhya and Sooraj want to do their own Bollywood films they have earned their right to do so.
    Good innings while it lasted, but they never give Sandhya praise. More foolish stories of Moorti coming up, God save us from the writers.

    I have this feeling. They will “die” at the end of this show but we won’t see the bodies. Then at some point later in Season 2, they will show up again, maybe much older and so on…….

    Diya baati is usless widout sooraj and sandhya ….how can the season 2 begin widout dem….not at all possible
